Happy Canada Day

Happy Canada Day to all of our JMG family in the north! Last year I said, "We make a lot of fun of you, but we also not-so-secretly want to be you." This year, we're a lot closer to that goal. Have a great 148th birthday, you don't look a day over 29. And thank you for Ryan Reynolds.

Happy Canada Day

Happy Canada Day to all of our JMG family in the north! We make a lot of fun of you, but we not-so-secretly also want to be you. And Ryan Reynolds totally makes up for Justin Bieber. Have a great 147th birthday, you don't look a day over 29.

Happy Canada Day!

Sending out Happy Canada Day wishes to our more enlightened neighbors! We make a lot of fun of you, but we not-so-secretly also want to be you. (Yes this is a day late, but I've been scolded for missing it yesterday.)

William Shatner - O Canada

A really cute and classically Shatner-esque bit that includes a shout-out to same-sex couples and universal health care.

Happy Canada Day!

Last night JMG reader Inga submitted the above photo after the Empire State Building shrugged off its Pride Month palette and slipped into Canada's national colors.

Happy Canada Day

Happy Canada Day to our JMG readers in the north!
Canada Day (French: Fête du Canada), formerly Dominion Day (French: Le Jour de la Confédération), is Canada's national day, a federal statutory holiday, celebrating the anniversary of the July 1, 1867 enactment of the British North America Act of 1867, which united Canada as a single country of four provinces. Canada Day observances take place throughout Canada as well as internationally.
We thank you for your fabulous homosexuals like k.d. lang, Scott Thompson, Mark Tewksbury, and Ashley McIsaac. As for your hets, Ryan Reynolds almost makes up for Celine Dion. Almost.
