IRELAND: British Anti-Marriage Leader Interviewed On Public Television

Ireland's public television network yesterday interviewed British hate group leader Sharon James during a forum on the coming same-sex marriage referendum. You may recall James from her dozens of anti-gay video clips, many of which were posted here in 2013. James' Christian Coalition is currently pressing for a British "conscience clause" bill that would legalize business discrimination against gays. In the clip below she warns the Irish not to go down the same filthy homo-infested road as has Britain.

Ralph Reed: It's Time For The Christian Coalition 2.0

Christianist carnival barker Ralph Reed wants to reboot the old Christian Coalition and get back to doing what he does best: thwarting the basic premises of American democracy.
“This is not going to be your daddy’s Christian Coalition,” Reed said in an interview to describe his new venture, the Faith and Freedom Coalition. “It has to be younger, hipper, less strident, more inclusive and it has to harness the 21st century that will enable us to win in the future.” If so, perhaps this really will be a new start. After all, when Reed ran the original Christian Coalition from 1989 to 1997, he famously warned enemies they wouldn’t know what hit them “until you’re in a body bag.” But, it’s been a decade since Reed left that stage, and he has suffered embarrassments and defeats the past few years. Now, Reed wants back in.
Reed likens his return to Christianist activism as when Steve Jobs returned to run Apple. Only Steve Jobs was never accused of defrauding Native Americans in a multimillion dollar scheme to seize casino rights, the scandal that sent Reed's pal Jack Abramoff to federal prison.

Moral Majority Co-Founder And Top-Rung Homophobe Paul Weyrich Dies At 66

Paul Weyrich, co-founder of the anti-gay Moral Majority, architect of the Christian Coalition, reputed Dominionist, and ardent opponent of LGBT rights, has died at age 66.
Conservative activist Paul Weyrich, who coined the phrase "moral majority" and helped turn social conservatives into a powerful force in the Republican Party, died Thursday. He was 66. Weyrich's death was announced by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think thank that he had helped to create.

Republican National Committee Chairman Mike Duncan said Weyrich "was instrumental in the development of conservative thought" in America. As the first president of the Heritage Foundation and the leader of other conservative organizations, Weyrich's service "embodied and further advanced the Republican Party's core values of limited government, lower taxes and individual responsibility," added Duncan. Lee Edwards, a Heritage Foundation scholar and a friend, said Weyrich had suffered from ill health in recent years and had both legs amputated.
Condolences and tributes are pouring across the internet from groups like the Concerned Women For America, the Eagle Forum's Phylis Schafly, and Campaign for Working Families head Gary Bauer.

RECENTLY: Two weeks ago Weyrich penned a column for Townhall in which he again warned that Barack Obama would "emasculate the military" by repealing DADT and would force Catholic doctors to perform abortions or lose their medical license.

ASSHAT HALL OF FAME: On the 700 Club in 2006, Weyrich asserted that all gay men are child predators a la Mark Foley.

He will not be missed.

Christianists Vow To Extend Their Winning Streak To All 50 States

Emboldened by their three-state sweep of hate, the Christian Coalition is vowing to extend their anti-gay battle to the rest of the states without a marriage amendment.
Among the most important news from yesterday's elections were the banning of homosexual "marriages" in the states of California, Florida, and Arizona. Indeed, the citizens of California overturned a tyrannical judicial decision by 4 California judges (in a 4-3 decision earlier this year) by passing Proposition 8 yesterday.

The President of the Christian Coalition of America, Roberta Combs said: "The American people are proud of their fellow citizens in the states of California, Florida and Arizona for upholding traditional marriage between one man and one woman. Christian Coalition of America will continue to fight to ensure that government serves to strengthen and preserve, rather than threaten, our families and our values."

Thus far, 30 states have outlawed homosexual "marriages" by an average close to 70% approval by voters through amendments to the state constitutions. In addition, the voters in Arkansas yesterday approved a measure banning unmarried couples from serving as adoptive or foster parents. It will be the goal of Christian Coalition to ensure that the other 20 states adopt similar amendments banning homosexual "marriages" including the states of Massachusetts and Connecticut which also had two judicial decisions, by one vote margins, legalizing these abominations.
We are witnessing the beginning of a social civil war more ugly than any in memory.
