Janet Mefferd Slams Southern Baptist Leader For Denouncing "Ex-Gay" Torture

"Homosexuals can change and have changed through all types of helpful Christian therapy, Dr. Moore. I've met them. I Cor. 6 also clearly tells us that redeemed sinners of all stripes can change, else why the reference, 'such WERE some of you?' What galls me the most is how he's playing right into the hands of Big Gay, which is on a totalitarian course to rub out personal autonomy and liberty to choose whatever you want in the way of therapy for unwanted same-sex attraction. And he's playing right into their hands." - Christian radio host Janet Mefferd, in a Facebook slam against Southern Baptist leader Russell Moore, who earlier this week denounced "ex-gay" torture.

NOM Cheers Author Who Says That Gay People Are Worse Than Murderers

"After the person murders someone or looks at pornography, they come to see that what they did was actually wrong, they can’t excuse it and moral order is restored and they’re contrite for having done so. But what if you organize your life around something that is wrong? Then you must construct a more permanent rationalization that prevents your conscience from returning to tell you that you’ve just done something profoundly wrong. This is exactly the case with active homosexuals, now extended to homosexual marriage, where they have to say that wrong is right and not only is it right but it’s normative, morally normative, so we need to teach it, we need to bless it in marriages, we need to ordain it in churches and we need to enforce it in our laws. And that is what is happening." - Robert R. Reilly, former assistant to Ronald Reagan, speaking about his latest book Making Gay Okay: How Rationalizing Homosexual Behavior Is Changing Everything.

NOM Chairman John Eastman: "Reilly has drawn on his extensive knowledge of classical political philosophy to explain the full scope of the dangers inherent in the modern homosexual rights movement. The movement threatens our very understanding of human nature, and hence of the American political regime that derives its understanding of rights and legitimate government from that nature. This book is a stark warning that should be read by every lover of liberty, and a call to action for those who would preserve it."

C-FAM head Austin Ruse: "This book is magnificent, a real achievement. For anyone interested in taking our country back from the sexual radicals, you must know how they did it, so rapidly, efficiently, even brutally. The gay rights movement slid through American institutions, both public and private, like a hot knife through butter."

NARTH Founder Joseph Nicolosi: "If you read only one book on homosexuality, natural law theory, and the radical changes now being instituted within our culture, let it be this one! Reilly exposes the unscientific reasons why homosexuality was normalized in the [American Psychiatric Association] diagnostic manual. He offers us some intriguing new material. In a clear, systematic, and engaging style, Reilly show us the inherent futility of same-sex acts, and eloquently explains what marriage really is. This book should be required reading for anyone who writes our laws in fact, for anyone with cultural decision-making power. We must not allow the surging political tides to obscure what you and I 'can't not know' about the nature and purpose of sexuality."

SCOTLAND: American Pastor Arrested For Homophobic Street Preaching

Last July, former Los Angeles County police officer Tony Miano, was arrested and released without charges in London for using homophobic speech as he preached to passersby on the street. And now he's been arrested in Scotland for the same thing. The British hate group Christian Concern is, of course, outraged. Here's their  account of the arrest, which they claim came after the mother of a gay man complained:
Mr. Miano’s colleague, Pastor Josh Williamson of the Craigie Reformed Baptist Church in Perth, who was present at the incident explains: “Tony wasn’t focussing just on homosexual practice – it was about all sin. A woman was yelling at him and her friend noticed we were filming the preaching, so she ran up to me and tried to smash my camera.” He says the first woman then appeared to be calling the police on her mobile just as a council warden came along and said that while we were doing nothing wrong, and had the right to free speech, we should move on. Mr. Miano finished his preaching in a few minutes and as the street preachers packed up two police officers arrived. At this point Pastor Williamson says the women shouted that they would get the preachers arrested. “The female officer saw we had a camera and lunged for it and then the male policeman grabbed it and threw it in the police van,” says Pastor Williamson. He says the male officer interviewed the women and then immediately arrested Mr. Miano, but did not question him or explain why he was being arrested. “After Tony was put in the police van I asked why he was being arrested and was told it was for a breach of the peace and for using homophobic language,” says Josh Williamson.
Miano took his story to JMG fan Janet Mefford.

Janet Mefferd: JMG Readers Are Haters

"Gay blog posts the comments of a priest who supports Scott Lively against the LGBT agenda and the frivolous 'crimes against humanity' trial he has to face in Massachusetts. But our purpose in posting this is really for you to READ the comments that follow the post. Who, exactly, are the vicious, intolerant haters?" - Christian radio host Janet Mefferd, directing her Facebook followers to this JMG post. Her show is syndicated to over 100 stations nationwide.

RELATED: Back in June, Mefferd told her Facebook followers that she wished she lived in Senegal because homosexuality is illegal there. (In fact, homosexuality is punishable by up to five years in prison there.)
