Slideshow: Blowoff NYC
Friday's final NYC Blowoff of the decade was its usual cavalcade of carousing and nonsensery. Some were worried that the word about the new venue, Tribeca's Canal Room, had not gotten out, but the joint was beyond capacity for most of the night. The club's lower lighting (compared to the Highline) seemed to influence DJs Bob Mould and Rich Morel, who kept things dark and sexy for much of the night. An updated set list should appear here shortly.
