Bjork - Stonemilker

The clip was made for virtual reality headsets. Bjork writes:
This came about as a spontaneous fruit of mine and andrew huang’s collaboration . we had already done black lake , the “family” moving album cover and the black lake “book cover” trailer and then found us in iceland one day with nothing to do and a 360 camera lying about. We discussed its potential for intimacy and andrew then suggested we take it to the beach where the song was written. It immediately rang true for me as that location has a beautiful 360 panoramic view which matches the cyclical fugue like movement in the song. If the song has a shape it is sort of like a circle that just goes on forever. i had recorded the strings with a clip on mike on each instrument. We have made a different mix where we have fanned this in an intimate circle around the listener. So as you watch this in the virtual reality headset it will be as if you are on that beach and with the 30 players sitting in a circle tightly around you.
If you watch the video using Chrome, you'll get a little control button that will let you spin the camera angle around.

Bjork Plays Carnegie Hall

Stereogum reports:
Yesterday, Björk played her first show in support of Vulnicura at Carnegie Hall. The first half of the show was dedicated to performing most of her new album’s tracks in order, which meant starting things off with the aching opening track “Stonemilker.” This was the first time she performed any of the Vulnicura tracks live. Björk was supported by Arca and a string section made up of members of New York collective Alarm Will Sound.

TRAILER: Bjork's Black Lake

Via Pitchfork:
On March 7, New York City's Museum of Modern Art will open the Björk retrospective Björk, an exhibit that will "chronicle her career through sound, film, visuals, instruments, objects, costumes, and performance." Today, the artist shared a teaser of the video and sound installation "Black Lake", which will be a part of the exhibition. Watch the teaser below. "Black Lake" is also the name of a song on her newest album, Vulnicura.
More from the MOMA:
The Museum of Modern Art presents a retrospective of the multifaceted work of composer, musician, and singer Björk. The exhibition draws from more than 20 years of the artist’s daring and innovative projects and her eight full-length albums to chronicle her career through sound, film, visuals, instruments, objects, and costumes. In the Museum lobby, instruments used on Biophilia (2011)—a gameleste, pipe organ, gravity harp, and Tesla coil—play songs from the album at different points throughout the day. On the second floor, in the Marron Atrium, two spaces have been constructed: one is dedicated to a new sound and video installation, commissioned by The Museum of Modern Art, for “Black Lake,” a song from Björk’s new album Vulnicura (2015); and the second is a cinema room that screens a retrospective in music videos, from Debut (1993) to Biophilia
Entrance to the Bjork exhibits are included with regular MOMA admission although timed tickets are required for an interactive exhibit on the third floor.

CANADA: Supporters Of Russian Punkers Demonstrate Inside Montreal Church

Clip description:
Feminists from Montreal show complete and full support to Pussy Riot by entering a church too and praying for their liberation, for a feminist Virgin Mary, and to get rid from Charest, Poutine and all the fuckers. Police came, but an explanation of the performance was sufficient and they let them go. Montreal is definitely not Russia... Free Pussy Riot!
Similar demonstrations took place in other major cities this weekend: London, Brisbane, and in Moscow, where Bjork interrupted her concert to express support for Pussy Riot and denounce the Russian government.
