June 19th At NYC's Roseland Ballroom

Obviously timed for gay pride, the B-52s and the Go-Go's play Manhattan's Roseland Ballroom on June 19th as part of a joint tour that has yet to confirm any other dates, although ten other cities are on the TBD roster. Tickets for the NYC date are already on sale. This is the first tour for the B-52s without guitarist Keith Strickland.

Reverend Sister Go-Go Jane Wiedlin Is Available For Your Gay Wedding

Go-Go's guitarist Jane Wiedlin emails us today to promote her Married By Jane site, where she offers to officiate weddings for "all creeds, genders & persuasions." You may recall that last fall Wiedlin performed the wedding for two lesbians in Central Park.

Thirty years after their first hit record, the Go-Go's have been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Big Gay Ice Cream Song

Former Go-Go's guitarist Jane Wiedlin has released Big Gay Ice Cream Song, her tribute to NYC's Big Gay Ice Cream Truck. The clip hasn't appeared on YouTube yet, but can be previewed and downloaded on iTunes. Wiedlin calls the tune "three minutes of sugary pop goodness, sort of like ice cream for your ears."
