Beyonce - Drunk In Love

CNN reports:
Beyoncé has delivered the ultimate holiday surprise. Just after midnight on the east coast, the singer suddenly dropped a brand new 14-track self-titled album on iTunes. That's right — without any pre-promotion. As if this bombshell — which, in her Instagram announcement, she described as a "visual album" — needed anything else, each song also comes with a music video and a download of BEYONCÉ will also score you three additional video.
This clip will likely get yanked as it's a fan upload.

UPDATE: Aaand it's gone.

UPDATE II: Closeted homosexual Matt Drudge mocks.

Beyonce/Jay-Z Fallout: House Bill Would Further Restrict Travel To Cuba

Jay-Z and Beyonce took a trip to Cuba to celebrate their fifth anniversary earlier this year, prompting nasty criticism from the wingnuts, who really hate the pop superstars for backing Obama. This week the GOP took its revenge.
Americans can travel to Cuba only with the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s okay, and trips are generally limited to academic, cultural, religious or journalistic pursuits. But the U.S. House of Representatives appropriations subcommittee on Tuesday passed what some are calling the “Jay-Z and Beyoncé” bill, which would restrict travel to academic visits. Bronx Rep. Jose Serrano, the panel’s top Democrat and a proponent of opening up Cuba to U.S. tourism, said the provision was an explicit “response to the trip by Beyoncé and Jay-Z.”
Serrano added that he does not expect the bill to pass.

Jay-Z Forces RIAA Change

Last week it was announced that Samsung had purchased one million digital copies of Jay-Z's coming album, which will be given away free when they launch a new cell phone app. Jay-Z then tweeted his millions of followers with a demand that the RIAA grant him a platinum album even though technically no one has bought it. Yesterday the RIAA agreed and the rap superstar will get his shiny plaque. But Billboard isn't having it and the "sales" will not be reflected on their charts.
"It wasn't as simple as you might think to turn down Jay-Z when he requested that we count the million albums that Samsung 'bought' as part of a much larger brand partnership, to give away to Samsung customers," Werde wrote in a letter from the editor. "True, nothing was actually for sale -- Samsung users will download a Jay-branded app for free and get the album for free a few days later after engaging with some Jay-Z content. The passionate and articulate argument by Jay's team that something was for sale and Samsung bought it also doesn't mesh with precedent."
