Lindsay Lohan Completes Community Service At NYC's Ali Forney Center

Via People:
After nearly eight years in and out of the court room, Lindsay Lohan can finally say good riddance to probation. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Young ruled on Thursday that the actress – who was not present at the hearing – has completed her mandatory community service hours stemming from a 2012 reckless driving case, according to the Associated Press. "I am very grateful to those at Brooklyn Community Services, Duffield and The Ali Forney Center for welcoming me into their services and allowing me to finish my court ordered Community Service hours," Lohan tells PEOPLE in a statement.
Ali Forney Center founder Carl Siciliano writes to us: "Lindsay Lohan spent five days volunteering at the Ali Forney Center in order to complete her community service requirements. She worked at our drop-in center and at our office, rearranging our donations and storage closets, and assembling 400 gift bags, as well as a number of other assorted tasks. She was a hard worker, was friendly, and showed concern for the plight of the youths we serve. It's definitely not every day that we have a superstar folding socks and underwear for our kids!"

Cher, Madonna, Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan would like you to know that she is dropping her family name and will join the tiny galaxy of megastars known only by one word.
"So many of the greatest people in showbiz are known by just their first name. Look at Oprah and Beyonce. Now you can add Lindsay to that list," a family friend tells me. "And it's a way for them all to start over. No one in the family want anything to do with Lindsay's father [Michael Lohan] anymore and that includes sharing a last name."
Fortunately, California's prisons already use a handy inmate numbering system, so this change will not be problematic. Call her TAFKALL.

Jimmy Kimmel's Hottie Body Hump Club

On last night's post-Oscars episode of the Jimmy Kimmel show, he ran the below exercise parody bit in which he enlists help from Kelly Ripa, Emily Blunt, Jessica Biel, Eva Longoria, Sofia Vergara, and even a self-mocking Lindsay Lohan. It's ridiculawesome.

Today In Frivolous Lawsuits

Lindsay Lohan is suing E*Trade for $100M, claiming that the "milkaholic" baby in their new ad is a violation of her name and personality. You see, the milk-addicted baby is named Lindsay. The drug-addicted Ms. Lohan says that since she's now as famous as any other one-name celebrity such as Cher or Madonna, nobody can use the name Lindsay ever again.
Lohan alleged that online brokerage's use in the ad the girl, also named Lindsay, improperly invoked her "likeness, name, characterization, and personality" without permission, violating her right of privacy. In her lawsuit filed Monday in a Nassau County, New York state court, the 23-year-old actress sought $50 million of compensatory damages and $50 million of exemplary damages. She also demanded that E*Trade stop running the ad and turn over all copies to her. Lohan's lawyer Stephanie Ovadia did not return requests for a comment. An E*Trade spokeswoman declined to comment, saying the New York-based company had not reviewed the complaint. A copy of the complaint is available at www.tmz.com . The New York Post reported the lawsuit earlier Tuesday. It said Ovadia maintained that Lohan has the same "single-name" recognition as celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Madonna.
