Alone Together

Via USA Today:
There once was a time when the family gathered around the living room TV. Then the tech era armed everyone but the family dog with their own personal screen. Now Marc Todd wants to go back to the future. SkreensTV is a $399 ($499 after the crowdfunding campaign) 7-by-2-inch WiFi- and Bluetooth-enabled box with five HDMI outputs and storage capacity ranging from 4 to 64 GB. SkreensTV routes the action from multiple devices – cable box, computer, gaming console, streaming TV – onto one screen. A custom app turns your tablet or phone into a remote that allows you to customize the size of each screen projected onto your TV. One video source can use the TV's speakers for audio, while the other four audio tracks can be accessed by wireless headphones. That's right, Todd is convinced folks are so desperate to be together they'll put up with a giant home TV with warring images of sports, xBox, and Twitter feeds.

FAA To Ease Rules On Electronics

The FAA is expected to relax its rules about using electronic devices on flights.
For fliers, the new rules would likely mean an end to familiar admonitions to turn off and stow all electronic devices. Cellphone calls are expected to remain off limits, however. The draft doesn't make any recommendations regarding phone use because the FAA didn't authorize the panel to delve into that particularly controversial area. Details are still being debated by the group and inside the FAA and could change. Still, the draft report reflects a consensus that the existing rules, essentially unchanged since the 1960s, have been overtaken by dramatic changes in technology and passenger expectations.

And Rentboys Rejoice

A company called Square has launched an iPhone credit card swiper. The device is expected to be a boon to mobile businesses such as food trucks and flea market entrepreneurs. And, I imagine, "in-home personal fitness trainers." Wired rates the device as easy to use and reliable.

Radar Love

From the Department of Bizarre Gadgets comes the Erectile Quality Monitor:
Once you obtain an erection via your stimuli of choice, simply place the head of the penis against the pressure sensor of the device and apply pressure towards the body for a count of 5 seconds or until the penis inflects (bends). At this point a reading will flash on one of the LED indicator lights, reflecting the quality of that erection. Use this same method each time you test to help ensure accurate results.

Each device comes with a comprehensive usage guide and a measurement record chart so that you can share your results with your physician, or simply keep track of your erection quality over time. Take measurements monthly to monitor your sexual health, or track your progress while using any of the Fastsize enhancement products, or from another vendor. Whether you just want to satisfy your own curiosity, or want to measure your erection quality in the privacy of your own home without having to deal with a physician, the FastSize EQM is a vital part of keeping track of your sexual health, whether you are 18 or 80 years old!

Benefits of using the EQM...
+ Measuring the rigidity (hardness) of your erections
+ Monitoring and/or preventing the onset of Erectile Dysfunction (E.D.)
+ Tracking the effectiveness of various E.D. or libido enhancing drugs/supplements
+ Tracking the effectiveness of penile enhancement devices such as the Fastsize Extender
+ Early detection of serious health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, & heart disease.

The "stimulus of your choice." 8th grade snicker. It looks like a radar detector to me, but keep in mind this thing comes from a company that sells "proven enlargement products." The EQM sells for $80.
