FRC Has The Trans Troops Sadz

"The Pentagon must answer whether this proposed policy makes our military more capable of performing its mission. The answer is a very clear and resounding no. This has everything to do with President Obama’s social agenda for the military, but it has nothing to do with enhancing military readiness. No new science has led to the Pentagon’s transgender study—only the politics of the Obama administration and the transgender movement. Allowing the Obama administration to use the military as a tool of social re-engineering will only undermine morale, unit cohesion, and readiness. It’s time that we allow the military to focus on its only job—defending our country against its enemies." - Family Research Council vice present Jerry Boykin, via press release.

FRC Vice President Jerry Boykin: Jews Are The Cause Of All The World's Problems

Three months ago Family Research Council president Tony Perkins joined seven evangelical members of Congress, including Rep. Michele Bachmann, in a tour of Israel during which they met privately with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Perkins followed up that visit with more of his regular missives about how Americans need to support Israel above all other allies. Take it away, Southern Poverty Law Center:
Family Research Council’s executive vice president, Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (retired), was caught on a “hot mic” following a panel yesterday at the National Security Action Summit, which was held just down the street from the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Boykin could be heard, in an awkward attempt at humor, telling a reporter from Israel that “Jews are the problem” and the “cause of all the problems in the world.” Boykin told another reporter that President Obama identifies with and supports Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood and uses subliminal messages to express this support. Boykin appeared on a panel yesterday – “Benghazigate: The Ugly Truth and the Cover-up” – as part of the summit held near Washington, DC, which was organized by Frank Gaffney to highlight speakers, like himself, who were not invited to speak at CPAC. Gaffney has alienated himself by repeatedly claiming that the American Conservative Union, which organizes CPAC, has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
The SPLC recaps Boykin's history:
Boykin has said that Jews must be converted to Christianity and believes that American Jews don’t understand Hitler and support Democrats as a result. He has also argued that Obama is using the Affordable Care Act to create a Hitler-style Brownshirt army to force Marxism on America. Boykin is best known for his animus against Muslims. He has argued that the First Amendment does not apply to Islam. He has also said that Christians must go on offense against Islam, there should be no more mosques built in America and there can be no interfaith dialogue between Christians and Muslims. Not surprisingly, Boykin’s military career was derailed by his anti-Muslim advocacy, earning him a rebuke from President George W. Bush and a Pentagon investigation that found he had violated military rules.
Boykin is also a columnist for World Net Daily and last month CNN had him on as an "expert" on Iraq. Here's the audio of his crack about Jews.

Family Research Council: Jesus Is Coming Back With An AR-15 Assault Rifle

"The Lord is a warrior and in Revelation 19 it says when he comes back, he's coming back as what? A warrior. A mighty warrior leading a mighty army, riding a white horse with a blood-stained white robe. I believe that blood on that robe is the blood of his enemies 'cause he's coming back as a warrior carrying a sword. And I believe now - I've checked this out - I believe that sword he'll be carrying when he comes back is an AR-15. I know, everybody says that was a metaphor. IT WAS NOT A METAPHOR! He was saying in building my kingdom, you're going to have to fight at times. You won't build my kingdom with a sword, but you're going to have to defend yourself. And that was the beginning of the Second Amendment, that's where the whole thing came from. I can't prove that historically and David [Barton] will counsel me when this is over, but I know that's where it came from. And the sword today is an AR-15, so if you don't have one, go get one. You're supposed to have one. It's biblical." - Family Research Council vice president and retired US Army Lt. General Jerry Boykin, speaking to David Barton's Wallbuilders conference.

FRC: The SPLC Should Be Prosecuted

The man who last year shot a security guard at the DC headquarters of the Family Research Council will be sentenced tomorrow and the FRC has spent the week renewing their claim that it is the Southern Poverty Law Center (and not them) who is the true hate group. And the government should do something about that. Today World Net Daily published an interview with an FRC spokesman, retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin:
The general noted that hate-crimes legislation would hold a pastor, or anyone else in authority, accountable for remarks that caused someone to harm a gay or lesbian individual, so why not an organization? “We have exactly the same thing now, with the SPLC, which clearly incited Floyd Lee Corkins to violence against a Christian organization,” he explained, “yet there is no effort whatsoever to hold them accountable in the court of public opinion or by the legal system in America, and I think there is a real contradiction there.” Corkins spotted the FRC on the SPLC’s “hate map,” but Boykin said his group has never appealed to the SPLC to take them off because they don’t think the hate map is legitimate. The general called the map capricious and noted it has no definition of a hate group. “More importantly, we think what they’re doing is absolutely reckless, particularly given they put us in the same category as groups like the Klu Klux Klan and the skinheads.”
Contrary to Boykin's silly lie, no pastor has been or would be held legally accountable for an anti-gay hate crime unless the pastor's words were a literal call for violence against a specific person. And the SPLC, needless to say, has never done that. The FRC has also taken to describing the shooter, Floyd Lee Corkins, as "heavily armed" in order to make the crime appear even more terrifying. In fact, he was carrying a single pistol and 15 chicken sandwiches. Corkins pleaded guilty in February and faces up to 45 years in prison.
