Linda Harvey: Boycott Macy's
"I have not been inside a Macys since 2011. I used to spend quite a bit of money during the holidays at our local Macys—but no longer. This decision was reinforced as I watched and photographed the huge Macys’ red star balloon flying high above the Columbus 'gay' pride parade in both 2013 and 2014. The banner carried by the Macys’ employee group marchers read, 'Pride and Joy.' The star at Christmas is a compelling Christian symbol, evoking the story that means a lot to many of us this time of year. The wise men followed the Star of Bethlehem and worshipped before the infant Savior, Jesus Christ, and offered him priceless gifts worthy of the King of Kings. This Christmas season, think about the fitting room at Macys and whether you would feel welcome there. If you are a male, would your wife, daughters or mom be safe and comfortable there? Do you agree that this seems highly odd, that Macys would so cavalierly disregard the preferences of the vast majority of the women who shop there? This seems marginally insane, actually. Can businesses be treated for mental illness?" - Hate group leader Linda Harvey, writing for BarbWire.

American Family Association: Boycott Macy's For Sponsoring Gay Sex Parades
Just in via email:
Most American families don't know about the contemptible role of Macy's department stores in supporting "gay pride" throughout the nation. The radical events and activities of a typical 'pride' week-end are decadent and highly-sexualized. They are a disgrace to communities and certainly shouldn't be financially supported by a retailer like Macy's that claims to serve families. The email goes on to denounce Macy's for offering a gay wedding gift registry and closes with a link to a form letter demanding that the company cease promoting "a very dangerous, unhealthy, and destructive lifestyle."
Sex parades in many cities, among them New York City, Columbus, Phoenix, Cincinnati, San Francisco, Seattle and Kansas City, are supported by Macy's sponsorship. In Orlando, Macy's is the "presenting sponsor" of the parade.
The red star that has become Macy's logo can often be seen floating as a balloon high above the marchers in these parades, and Macy's employees march in the parade with signs and T-shirts that read "Pride and Joy." Yet some of their fellow parade participants are partially-clothed and engaged in simulated sex acts, even while children are present. Some floats and signs mock man/woman marriage in support of same sex "marriage" while others outwardly mock sincerely held Christian faith.
RELATED: Visit the Macy's website for information about all of the parades and events that they are supporting.

One Million Moms Vs Macy's
Just in via email:
The annual tradition for family entertainment had a not-so-discrete agenda this time around. This year's parade chose to send a Politically Correct message, but their plan backfired and the statement they really sent to families is that Macy's cannot be trusted. "Raise You Up" was not suitable for families for many reasons. The inappropriate act starred Kinky Boots, referencing a musical written to celebrate the differences in each other and included: (all) the men and women in thigh-high boots [mostly red pleather while others were sparkly "hooker" boots], a man in boxer shorts and men in burlesque and Moulin rouge costumes prancing around expressing themselves, RuPaul (famous drag queen) along with several men dressed in drag, transgender and transvestites, singing and dancing as an expression of "diversity" and honoring whatever sexuality you want.Note that they misidentify the lead as RuPaul. (It's Billy Porter.)
The performance was sexually charged and quite offensive. Here are some, but not all of the lyrics to the song they chose to sing, to give you a better idea: Accept yourself and you'll accept others too. Let love shine. Let pride be your guide. Change the world when you change your mind. Just be who you wanna be. You're beautiful; it's beautiful! Shame on Macy's for promoting this. We cannot trust Macy's Dept. Store any longer. This is the straw that broke the camel's back. It is clear that Macy's does not have our children's best interest in mind. Macy's needs to know that trust must be earned and once trust is lost it is difficult to get back.
Here's that "sexually charged" performance.

Donald Trump Threatens To Sue Organizer Of Campaign For Macy's To Drop Him
Donald Trump says he's might sue the man who launched an online petition drive that calls for Macy's to stop selling his branded items.
Trump's attorney, Alan Garten, has sent a letter to Angelo Carusone, who launched an online petition urging Macy's to drop Trump, saying that Trump will sue Carusone for damages "not less than $25,000,000" if he continues his campaign. "While you claim to be merely exercising or right to free speech, your egregious, pre-meditated and illegal conduct far exceeds anything protected by the Constitution," the letter, dated Dec. 27, reads. "Rather than simply engage in lawful protest, you have apparently made it your mission to interfere with and intentionally disrupt Mr. Trump's longstanding and well-established business relationship with Macy's as well as his contractual dealings with other third parties through mob-like bullying and coercion."Carusone: "Donald Trump's attempt to silence me will not work. I've dealt with enough bullies and know better than to succumb to intimidation." Carusone formerly ran the "Stop Beck" campaign which called on advertisers to abandon Glenn Beck's show when it was on Fox News.

On Macy's Website
Free Republic is ever so pissed: While conservative activists have focused on the promotion of gay marriage by store chains J.C. Penny and Target, Macy's has gone under the culture radar in its partnership with the Obama-allied homosexual group, the Human Rights Campaign. The incoming president of HRC, Chad Griffin is an Obama bundler. You won't see it in Macy's weekly sales circular, and you'd be hard pressed to find it on the front page of the Macy's website, but the Human Rights Campaign is loud and proud in declaring its partnership with Macy's urging customers to purchase "election year" Vote Equality t-shirts with the proceeds going to the Human Rights Campaign.

Concerned Women Are Concernstipated That Macy's Is Normalizing Pedophilia
"Do we really want to send our children into the Macy’s dressing rooms to try on a Christmas dress or suit, knowing that the store promotes the lifestyles of sexual deviancy IN THE DRESSING ROOM at the expense of the safety of our kids and, indeed, the decency of Americans as a whole? I, for one, am sick and tired of the false compassion being shown to special sexual interest groups at the cost of the rest of us. It is a dangerous and slippery slope America is sliding down if we let this continue. There are groups actively pursuing breaking down the final moral protection of society by normalizing pedophilia. Is Macy’s part of this agenda? I hope not, but, until I hear otherwise, I will have to assume so and shop elsewhere." - Janne Myrdal, state director for Concerned Women of North Dakota.Labels: bigotry, Concerned Women Of America, hate groups, Macy's, religion, transgender issues

Fox Panel Mocks Trans Macy's Patron
Equality Matters reports:
During the segment, Fox’s [Shannon] Bream listened quietly as her guests repeated a number of anti-trans smears, including referring to the transgender teen as “a man... wearing lipstick” and promoting the right-wing myth that transgender protections put women and girls "in jeopardy." [snip] Instead of accurately portraying the problem of discrimination based on gender identity, Bream allowed her guests to openly chuckle as they trivialized the experience of the transgender teen and attacked Macy’s non-discrimination policy.

Liberty Counsel Vs. Macy's
Liberty Counsel: "Macy’s is one of many retail establishments now catering to pro-homosexual activists who are pushing forward with 'social engineering' throughout our schools, workplaces, military, and government agencies. They are taking enormous strides in redefining marriage and family while initiating as many legal actions as quickly as possible – all with the support of a sympathetic Obama administration!" Commenters on World Net Daily are vowing to cut up their Macy's card over this.Labels: bigotry, hate groups, Liberty Counsel, Macy's, religion, retail, transgender issues

Asshat Of The Day - Mat Staver
"This was a man, everyone recognized it’s a man, going into the women’s restroom. Now whether that person has good or ill intentions towards women, no one knows, but the fact of the matter is when you defy common sense and when it says ‘women’s fitting room’ and you allow people other than women in that fitting room, you’re just asking for trouble."This is just an absurd policy, this is the so-called LGBT sexual anarchist agenda gone awry, I mean this is the absurdity to which this agenda goes when you ultimately follow it to its logical conclusion. Well what happens if someone says, ‘I’m an adult but I identify myself as a child, I can go and use the little kiddies restroom,’ or silly things like that. But that’s where it goes to." - Liberty Counsel deep thinker Mat Staver, speaking about Macy's. (Via - Right Wing Watch)
RELATED: Staver's radio show co-host added: "If I envision myself as being a kangaroo, I mean let’s go outside of the gender of humanity, somebody might think I’m a monkey or a walrus, you’d say ‘Vic if you said that they would send you to the nut house, they would send you to the insane asylum.’"

Macy's Stands Up For Trans Rights
Macy's recently made the right call concerning a employee complaint about a transgender patron. And that has them on the hit list of hate groups like the Liberty Counsel who allege that the employee was fired because of her "sincerely held religious objection" to transwomen using the ladies changing room.
Johnson pointed out to management the consequences of the policy and the potential danger to women and offensiveness of the policy, as well as that it violated her religious beliefs. She was fired. Natalie's situation represents what we're going to see around the country if we have this LBGT agenda continue to advance. It literally has become the theatre of the absurd," Staver offers. "This policy at Macy's is fraught with problems -- it will alienate and offend the majority of their customers, particularly women," he continues. "They obviously do not, nor should they have to put up with, men using the women's fitting rooms."The American Family Association's Bryan Fischer rushes in to declare the incident "Homosexual Bigots Commit Hates Crimes, Part 14."
This action on Macy’s part was clearly motivated by its prejudicial bias against this woman and her religious convictions. To be told you will lose your job unless you violate your conscience is both a threat and harassment. Well, you can’t be any more annoyed, threatened, intimidated or alarmed than to be told your job depends upon ditching everything you know to be true about gender and freedom. And talk about a hostile environment! Macy’s is now so hostile to Natalie Johnson that she can’t even go to work there anymore. And of course, here's today's AFA poll of the day.

Catholic League Vs. Macy's
The Catholic League is pissed at Macy's for the above display window promoting Showtime's upcoming series, The Borgias, which was "written by an atheist who hates the Catholic Church." Bill Donohue: "Why Macy's would want to pick a fight with Catholics during the Lenten season is not known, but that it has is certain." Wikipedia's entry on the Borgia family, one of whom became Pope, notes: "They have been accused of many different crimes, including adultery, simony, theft, rape, bribery, incest, and murder." Which is the real reason Donohue hates seeing the series promoted.Labels: Bill Donohue, Catholic League, Macy's, Showtime

Gonna Dress You Up In Mylar
Madonna and her daughter are launching a line of children's clothing at Macy's. Madonna and her 13 year-old daughter Lourdes are lending a little star power to Macy's. The two are designing a line called Material Girl that will appear exclusively at the retailer this back-to-school season. The line, described as a "fast-fashion, junior collection," will hit shelves in 200 Macy's locations and be available on the company's Web site in August. Material Girl is a joint venture between Madonna, Lourdes and the Iconix Brand Group's in-house fashion department. In addition to back-to-school apparel, the Material Girl line will include footwear, handbags and jewelry. In 2011, the plan is to expand into Material Girl-branded fragrances as well. The collection will retail for between $12 and $40.I can't wait to see the trainer cone bra.
