I've moved down from my previous perch above Fox News into the massive and charmingly titled "Unassigned Media Room" where reporters from outlets who didn't fork out for luxury boxes are filing their stories. Brazil's O Globo crew is sitting across from me. To my right is a VERY LOUD Japanese news team. Events from the main floor are being piped in onto several big screens which are being ignored by all. UPDATE: I've learned that this room is ordinarily the practice court for the Carolina Bobcats. Hadn't even noticed the scoreboards.

Tonight Dr. Jeff and I took in the Miss Ritchfield 1981 show at The Out NYC, Manhattan's new and posh gay hotel/nightclub complex with a terrible, terrible name. The show was a riot. We passed on the bottle service.

I barely had ten hours back home after Key West and now I'm in Minneapolis all week for Netroots Nation 2011. The weather here sucks and this is the ugliest fucking hotel in the history of the universe. And of all the parallel universes. (I'm guess I'm a little travel-fatigued.)
