Ellen Goes Straight For Halloween

"I like Halloween because it’s the one time of year you can dress up however you want, and pretend you’re someone you’d never be in real life. For me, that’s married to a man."

Jennifer LeClaire: Atheists On Twitter Are Trying To Stir Up Witches Against Me

"This may never happen to you, but I got a good laugh this week when some unbeliever - or perhaps someone who has been hurt deeply by the church - launched a miniature Twitter campaign trying to stir up witches against me. Needless to say, it didn't work. When demonic activity is rising in a city, a sensitive Christian will discern it. Unless you know what is operating, you will think the imaginations against your mind are you, or the fatigue is natural because you get up so early, or the feelings of giving up are legitimate because of the long trial you've endured.  I've discovered again and again that when I share the revelation on spiritual climates, this truth sets people free to submit themselves to God and resist the devil so he'll flee. Our battle is not against witches, pagans, Wiccans or heathens who practice one form of witchcraft or another. Our battle is against unseen spirits. We bless witches, pagans, Wiccans, heathens, Muslims, Mormons and everybody else—and we're not fearful of witchcraft or curses. I have been freed to worship God without fear of curses or atheists who try to stir up witches against me (see John 8:36). And so have you! Amen." - Jennifer LeClaire, writing for the Christian site Charisma News. (Note the company in which LeClaire places Mormons.)

RUSSIA: Anti-Gay MP Vitaly Milonov Crashes & Halts Halloween Party

He doesn't hate gay people, he hates everything.
Lawmaker Vitaly Milonov, known as the co-author of the St. Petersburg's anti-gay legislation, has disrupted a Halloween party in one of the city's parks. United Russia deputy Milonov arrived at Internationalists Park on Thursday in the Kupchino district where about 1,000 people were celebrating Halloween with pumpkin carving contest and a fireworks display, Komsomolskaya Pravda reported Friday. Milonov and a few of his supporters showed up shortly after the audience had jokingly summoned the devil and called a halt to the "sabbath." He called the police and the organizers were subsequently forced to stop the event "due to technical reasons."
Milonov claims he was "defending the cross."

Satan Loves Halloween

"The coming of Halloween is a good time for Christians to remember that evil spirits are real and that the Devil will seize every opportunity to trumpet his own celebrity. Perhaps the best response to the Devil at Halloween is that offered by Martin Luther, the great Reformer: 'The best way to drive out the devil, if he will not yield to texts of Scripture, is to jeer and flout him for he cannot bear scorn.' On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther began the Reformation with a declaration that the church must be recalled to the authority of God’s Word and the purity of biblical doctrine. With this in mind, the best Christian response to Halloween might be to scorn the Devil and then pray for the Reformation of Christ’s church on earth. Let’s put the dark side on the defensive." - Albert Mohler, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, lamenting that Halloween is a pagan ritual that hasn't become Christianized like Christmas has.

RELATED: NYC's famed Village Halloween Parade (above) will be back this year, in part thanks to a generous donation from the grand marshal Kelly Ripa. The event nearly went under after being canceled last year due to Frankenstorm Sandy. Organizers reportedly expect 50,000 participants, two million attendees, and a worldwide television audience in the tens of millions.

Paging Bill Donohue

"This sinfully funny costume includes classic black priest robe with attached collar and jock strap with inflatable prosthetic, giving a new meaning to 'please rise.'"

UPDATE: And right on cue, Bill Donohue.
The priest costume shows the clergyman in black cassock with an erection. The nun costume shows her in full habit and pregnant. Anyone who wants to buy a costume with a rabbi or imam sporting an erection is out of luck—there are none available. There are also no vulgar Jewish or Muslim women costumes available. Just ones for nuns. The most prominent store selling the offensive priest and nun costumes is Spirit Halloween; they have stores throughout the nation and have a big online following. The store even says of the priest-with-an-erection garb, “Pair this mens [sic] costume with the Pregnant Nun for some really twisted fun.” Contact the illiterates at: GuestServices@spirithalloween.com
