Rob Cantor - Shia LeBeouf

Somehow I missed this wildly viral video (1.7M views) when it was first released nearly a week ago. Via Billboard:
Back in 2012, singer-songwriter Rob Cantor wrote a song called “Shia LaBeouf” about the titular character as a cannibal, with lines like, “Hollywood superstar… living in the woods/killing for sport.” In the new video, the West Los Angeles Children’s Choir and Gay Men’s Chorus team for a rousing interpretation of the song, complete with very literal onstage interpretations of the lyrics. Wait until the end for a cameo from LaBeouf himself.

1999 Flashback: LA Gay Men's Chorus Performs We Shall Overcome In Moscow

The Los Angeles Gay Men's Chorus today posted the below 1999 concert footage with some recent and disturbing images from Russia added. Above is infamous and recently apprehended Russian gay-basher Maxim Martsenkevich.
One of the largest gatherings of LGBT people in Russian history occurred when the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles performed in Moscow in 1999. Here's the climax of that landmark event in Tchaikovsky Hall, where tears flowed on both sides of the footlights. Watch the LGBT communities from Russia and the US unite for the first time, holding hands without fear of oppression or reprisal. Our message to the world: We Shall Overcome."
Definitely watch this.

Via press release:
The Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles whose mission is to transform hearts and minds through the power of music, is pleased to announce that the song “More Friends Than You Know” will be showcased on this Thursday night’s episode of the Fox hit Glee. Written by Tony Award winner Jeff Marx and Grammy Award winner Merv Warren for GMCLA’s It Gets Better show, the song will be performed by the Glee cast.

“We're thrilled and honored that this song, which is about taking a stand, being strong and overcoming adversity by knowing that you're loved, is part of our it gets better show and week-long residency program that tours the nation.
