Quote Of The Day - Gina Miller

"Even though no reference to 'homosexual,' or any of the rest of the Alphabet Soup Perversity Brigade is mentioned in the legislation, homosexual activists are still waging war against the new law. Now, they have created window stickers for businesses that state, 'We don’t discriminate. If you’re buying, we’re selling.' The sticker has a rainbow-colored line running through its center. As they do in every aspect of their anti-Christian, freedom-robbing agenda, they lie about the [Mississippi] Religious Freedom Restoration Act, insisting it will open the door to a flood of anti-homosexual 'discrimination,' with Christian businesses owners refusing to do business with people simply because they’re sodomites. That’s not happening, but these people don’t let truth or reason even come close to getting in their way, because if there were even one case of a 'Christian' business owner telling a homosexual, 'We don’t serve your limp-wristed kind in here,' it would be blaring headline news from coast to coast, world without end." - Anti-gay shrieker Gina Miller, writing for Matt Barber's website.

Miller goes on to point out that the American Family Association has published a list of all businesses that are welcoming LGBT customers with the sticker. Miller: "These are businesses you might want to avoid here in Mississippi, unless you’re in the mood to go inside and find out if they really understand what that anti-Christian sticker means." Since I'm banned from BarbWire, some of you might want to drop by with the below sign which Miller claims has never existed.

FRC Rates 153 Members Of House & Senate As "True" To Hate Values

Via press release from the Family Research Council:
Congress may not always act responsibly, but there are plenty of members who do! Yesterday, we honored the House and Senate leaders who stood on principle and notched a perfect 100% on FRC Action's annual scorecard. This year AFA Action, the legislative affiliate of the American Family Association, teamed up with us in honoring those who are defending and advancing faith, family and freedom on Capitol Hill. Fifty-five of the 153 congressional "True Blue" winners dropped by the Capitol Hill Club for our special reception, and it was encouraging to see the camaraderie in the room among the leaders who take the slings and arrows as they stand for family values.

This year, FRC Action scored votes on everything from ObamaCare and abortion restrictions to the President's court nominees and safeguarding conscience rights. I appreciate the members who took time out of their busy schedules to join Tim Wildmon and me -- as well as the FRC, and FRC Action staff, Connie Mackey, David Christensen, Josh Duggar, Leanna Baumer, Emily Minick, Sherry Crater, and Nick Frase -- for your tireless efforts for our values. Congratulations to the 113th Congress's class of True Blue winners!

More Oklahoma Sadz From Tony Perkins

"From Tulsa to Tipton, the news dropped like a bombshell, stunning the million-plus voters who'd exercised what they thought was their constitutional right to define marriage. Under the 68-page opinion of a single judge, that right no longer exists for Sooners. Like New Jersey, New Mexico, and Utah before them, Oklahomans are feeling the deep betrayal of a judicial system overrun by political activists. In a country where lawlessness is more contagious than the common cold, U.S. District Judge Terence Kern smothered the votes of 76% of the state and substituted his judgment for that of 1,075,216 Oklahomans. By driving these lawsuits into the deepest conservative states, the Left's biggest goal is demoralizing the heart of our movement. But if it's indifference liberals are counting on, they just picked a fight with the wrong voters." - KKK-affiliated hate group leader Tony Perkins, via press release.

FFRF Slams "Lord's Prayer" Student

The Freedom From Religion Foundation has issued a statement about the South Carolina public high school student who recited the Lord's Player during his valedictorian address.
The Freedom From Religion Foundation is placing the blame for a string of problematic religious violations in Pickens County schools, Pickens S.C., upon its prayerful Board of Education. [snip] "The valedictorian who so insensitively inflicted Christian prayer on a captive audience at a secular graduation ceremony is a product of a school district which itself has set an unconstitutional example by hosting school board prayer," said Annie Laurie Gaylor, FFRF co-president. It appears that valedictorian Roy Costner IV, 18, was protesting a decision by the district to stop scheduling invocations and benedictions at graduations, possibly as a result of FFRF's complaints. FFRF will continue to monitor the situation.
Family Research Council tool Tony Perkins fires back:
Gaylor lists of string of abuses by the school district -- among them: the description of a new head football coach as a "Christian." To the chagrin of the atheists, the school district says it has no plans to take action against Costner for exercising his freedom of speech and religion. My question is: when will the adults show the same courage as these young people, who are saying no to repression by this radical minority? The response of the audiences in every one of these incidents is very telling. They all stand and applaud like a repressed people yearning to breath free. It's time for all of us to breath free!
