CANADA: Porno Pete Pickets Courthouse Before Trial On "Mischief" Charges

Porno Pete and Canadian crackpot Bill Whatcott yesterday picketed outside a Saskatchewan courthouse before they had their trial on "mischief" charges for their April stunt in which they demonstrated without a permit on the campus of the University of Regina in a protest against "homosexualism." From the Leader-Post:
At their trial today, court heard they were asked to leave the campus because their activities violated the U of R's policy on maintaining a respectful work environment. In the morning, court was packed with their supporters while the Crown's arguments were presented. The defence presented evidence in the afternoon. LaBarbara and his supporters also protested with signs outside the courthouse before proceedings began. The judge will hand down a decision on Dec. 22.

Defence lawyer Michael Weger argued the men’s initial arrest on the wrong charge was only one of the reasons the current charges should be tossed. He said the mischief charge they are facing contains a number of legal “outs,” one stating that a person can’t be charged if they are attending a place simply to obtain or communicate information.

“Communicating information is exactly what happened on April 14 ...,” Weger said. “Isn’t university about different ideas and different viewpoints? As soon as we get to a point when we start sending young adults to an institution that tells them exactly how they must think and what to think, then our students stop getting an education.”

But Fitz-Gerald argued the men were not charged because they chose to communicate information; They were charged because they refused to leave private property after being asked several times to do so and thereby interfered with the lawful use and enjoyment of that property.

“It’s the Crown’s position, your Honour, that the University of Regina owns and occupies that property, that land, (and) it’s uncontroverted evidence before you of that,” he said, adding that the university has the right to direct people to leave under the Trespass to Property Act. “I say the university was completely within its rights to (ask them to leave). Mr. Whatcott and Mr. LaBarbera were not within their rights to refuse.”

Dick Cheney And Liz Cheney Blame President Obama For Civil War In Iraq

From an op-ed published by the Wall Street Journal:
Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many. Too many times to count, Mr. Obama has told us he is "ending" the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan—as though wishing made it so. His rhetoric has now come crashing into reality. Watching the black-clad ISIS jihadists take territory once secured by American blood is final proof, if any were needed, that America's enemies are not "decimated." They are emboldened and on the march.

Our president doesn't seem to. Iraq is at risk of falling to a radical Islamic terror group and Mr. Obama is talking climate change. Terrorists take control of more territory and resources than ever before in history, and he goes golfing. He seems blithely unaware, or indifferent to the fact, that a resurgent al Qaeda presents a clear and present danger to the United States of America.

When Mr. Obama and his team came into office in 2009, al Qaeda in Iraq had been largely defeated, thanks primarily to the heroic efforts of U.S. armed forces during the surge. Mr. Obama had only to negotiate an agreement to leave behind some residual American forces, training and intelligence capabilities to help secure the peace. Instead, he abandoned Iraq and we are watching American defeat snatched from the jaws of victory.
Today the two Cheneys launched The Alliance For A Strong America, which advocates for even more of the disastrous military interventions that got us to where we are today.

Quote Of The Day - Gina Miller

"Even though no reference to 'homosexual,' or any of the rest of the Alphabet Soup Perversity Brigade is mentioned in the legislation, homosexual activists are still waging war against the new law. Now, they have created window stickers for businesses that state, 'We don’t discriminate. If you’re buying, we’re selling.' The sticker has a rainbow-colored line running through its center. As they do in every aspect of their anti-Christian, freedom-robbing agenda, they lie about the [Mississippi] Religious Freedom Restoration Act, insisting it will open the door to a flood of anti-homosexual 'discrimination,' with Christian businesses owners refusing to do business with people simply because they’re sodomites. That’s not happening, but these people don’t let truth or reason even come close to getting in their way, because if there were even one case of a 'Christian' business owner telling a homosexual, 'We don’t serve your limp-wristed kind in here,' it would be blaring headline news from coast to coast, world without end." - Anti-gay shrieker Gina Miller, writing for Matt Barber's website.

Miller goes on to point out that the American Family Association has published a list of all businesses that are welcoming LGBT customers with the sticker. Miller: "These are businesses you might want to avoid here in Mississippi, unless you’re in the mood to go inside and find out if they really understand what that anti-Christian sticker means." Since I'm banned from BarbWire, some of you might want to drop by with the below sign which Miller claims has never existed.

Bryan Fischer: America Needs To Ban All Motherfucking Profanity Like Russia Did

Russia has actually banned profanity.
Thinking about making a film? Better leave out the foul language if you want it to be seen in Russia. The same goes for plays. Even rock stars will need to leave their potty mouths at home. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed off on a new law Monday that bans swearing at arts, cultural and entertainment events in the country. Any new film containing obscene language won't be granted a distribution certificate, so there's no chance of seeing it at the movie theater. And copies of books, CDs or films containing swearing can only be distributed in a sealed package labeled "Contains obscene language," a Kremlin statement said.According to state news agency ITAR-Tass, individuals caught using foul language face a fine of up to $70, while officials can be fined up to $40 and businesses nearly $1,400. They face a higher fine and a three-month suspension of business for repeated offenses.
The AFA says it's a great fucking idea.

Email Of The Day - Eugene Delgaudio

"Dear Joe, Radical homosexuals are checking my garbage. If they see Public Advocate’s treasury depleted they will see an opening to ram through the Gay Bill of Special Rights, the Homosexual Classrooms Act and National Homosexual 'Marriage.' Without your financial support and prayers, Public Advocate would be nothing -- totally helpless against the radical homosexuals’ assault on our families. The Human Rights Campaign, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, GLAAD, the North American Man/Boy Love Association, and every other radical homosexual organization will be scouring our finance report to exploit every chink in my armor. That’s why your emergency gift of $10, $25 or $35 is so important. Without it, the Homosexual Lobby will be able to show Public Advocate’s 990 to moderate politicians as proof there is no effective opposition to their agenda." - Hate group crackpot Eugene Delguadio, in today's money beg.

Porno Pete Takes Hate To Jamaica

Unable to face the humiliation of homosexuals marrying in his Illinois hometown, this weekend Porno Pete took his message of hatred to Jamaica.
Peter LaBarbera, president of the Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH), in the United States of America (US), has encouraged Jamaicans to be grounded in their Christian beliefs and not to be lured by other countries in repealing the buggery law. "The United States has no business lecturing anybody about sexual morality. America has rampant abortions, rampant promiscuity, and I stand wholeheartedly with Jamaicans and encourage you all to hold to your beliefs, " LaBarbera told The Gleaner. LaBarbera made the comments Saturday following The Jamaica Coalition for a Healthy Society International Human Rights conference at the Jamaica Conference Centre in downtown Kingston. "We are all watching Jamaica to see what happens (buggery law), and I believe if Jamaica can stand up and not bow to the pressure, you can be an example to the world. There is no need to follow anybody," LaBarbera said.
Per Jamaican law, homosexual male acts (but not female acts) are punishable by ten years in prison. LGBT people there are regularly murdered, often by angry mobs incited by local evangelicals.

Matt Barber Writes For World Net Daily: Eric Holder Should Arrest JMG For Anti-Christian Comments Left On His Blog

Liberty Counsel spokesdouche Matt Barber has posted a World Net Daily column in which he calls for Eric Holder and the federal government to take legal action against me for anti-Christian comments made by alleged JMG readers on a post I wrote about a recent abortion rights rally in Argentina, in which feminists spat upon and sprayed paint into the faces of Catholic men outside a cathedral. After describing the incident, Barber writes:
For liberals, although the means may change, the ends remain the same. Still, equally disturbing are a number of comments posted about the incident on at least one award-winning “gay”-activist blog. Ironically, the site, “JoeMyGod,” a serial Christian-defaming cyber-rag, won the award for “Outstanding Blog” in 2011 at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards. While Joe Jervis – the blog’s militant atheist and “gay” sadomasochist founder – refused to denounce the Argentinian “hate crimes” outright, he at least begrudgingly admitted: “I really can’t see how this advances the cause of abortion rights.” Ya think? Even so, Jervis, who’s blog has a long history of anti-Christian extremism and violence-charged rhetoric, nonetheless permitted several of his regular posters to not only condone the feminist attacks, but to illegally call for a steep escalation in anti-Christian violence in general (up to and including church bombings, and both the castration and even murder of Christians in the U.S.).
Barber then goes on for several paragraphs to quote these "regular posters" (none of whose user names I recognize) and then he concludes:
Indeed, to borrow from Madonna, it seems Argentina has much to cry for. And so does America. But as for “JoeMyGod,” the question is this: Will GLADD now publicly disavow Joe Jervis for allowing (and perhaps tacitly condoning) such violent (and very likely illegal) rhetoric? Will this self-styled “anti-defamation” group rescind its “Outstanding Blog” award? Don’t hold your breath. Even still, a bigger question remains: Will federal authorities investigate these threats? If it were Christians threatening “gays,” Eric Holder himself would kick-in the door with MSNBC in tow. Every newspaper in America would give it above-the-fold coverage. But it wasn’t Christians threatening “gays.” It was “gays” threatening Christians. And that just doesn’t fit the false “gay victimhood” narrative.
The almost-hilarious hypocrisy here, of course, is that anybody who has EVER endured five minutes on WND knows that they not only allow their own commenters to advocate for the death penalty for homosexuals and that they cheer on violent anti-gay hate crimes, WND columnists themselves have called for executing people who oppose the Christianist agenda, as, for example, when WND's Erik Rush did last year when he declared that journalists should be executed after Mitt Romney won the election. Erik Rush: "Trials for treason and the requisite sentences would apply, and I would have no qualms about seeing such sentences executed, no matter how severe." Earlier this year WND's Erik Rush declared that all Muslims should be murdered and underscored that sentiment with this tweet: "Yes, they're evil. Kill them all." And just last week WND's Erik Rush called for the execution of the president of the United States.

OK, coming back to the world of actual sane people, actual longtime JMG readers are well aware that for the near-decade of this blog's existence, I have posted regular pleas for civility in the comments and have demanded that no one make calls for physical violence against any person or any property for any reason. One of those pleas went up here just a few months ago when I wrote:
As I regularly do, today I again caution you that even the most idle and "jokey" threats of physical harm to any person or property are completely unacceptable on JMG. Also strongly discouraged are expressed wishes of physical harm to others by any means, including natural ones. Please remain aware that JMG comments are often scoured by the enemies of civil equality who look for any opportunity to republish ill-considered reactions to the news reported here. We sometimes see more than 50,000 comments per month and I cannot personally read but a fraction of them. Therefore I must rely on the JMG community to stay self-policing and notify me by email should any comment concern you. Be advised that in many cases these comments are posted by drive-by trolls in order to grab triumphant screen-shots for use elsewhere. You've been remarkably great about observing these very few commenting rules and I thank you for that.
The vast majority of JMG readers have been very good about observing these commenting rules and I thank you for that. And please do continue to alert me if you see any comments like those in today's WND column. As for Matt Barber, I suspected something like this was coming after he suddenly followed me on Twitter a few days ago after years of blocking me from following him. Barber is obviously trying to take revenge on me because I take such delight in cataloging every single loss suffered by the Liberty Counsel. And there have been SO many lately.

One wonders how many tens of thousands of JMG comments Barber had to wade through before he could finally pounce upon the half dozen cited in today's World Net Daily column. One also wonders if Barber didn't plant those comments himself. You'd think Matt Barber would be SUPER busy getting repeatedly smacked down by the Supreme Court or helping the Liberty Counsel with the RICO Act lawsuit which alleges that they abetted the kidnapping of a young girl. Instead, he's got time to troll JMG and cherry-pick a handful of ugly comments. What a sad clown.

NOTE: I've taken down the JMG post cited by Barber rather than deleting the offensive comments. We don't need WND's violently anti-gay readers swarming over here from Barber's link.

NOTE II: It never fails to crack me up when Barber or Porno Pete call me a "leather daddy" or says that I'm "sadomasochistic." Is it the pork pie hat? Where DO they get that?

UPDATE: Barber is pissed that I've blocked his link by taking down my post. Needless to say, if my post was still up, he'd be tweeting "Militant gay refuses to take down post." SNORK!

Pat Robertson: Gay Men Use Special Rings To Cut People And Give Them HIV

This is possibly the most outrageous thing Pat Robertson has ever said.
Today on the 700 Club, Pat Robertson told co-host Terry Meeuwsen that gay men in cities like San Francisco attempt to spread HIV/AIDS to others by cutting them with a special ring when shaking hands. However, one could not hear Robertson make the remarks on the episode his Christian Broadcasting Network posted online, as the company once again appears to have edited Robertson’s comments after they aired.
Really unfuckingbelievable.

RELATED:  Feel free to tweet CBN (@CBNproducers) and demand a public apology and a retraction of Pat Robertson's disgusting lie.  Also you can call: CBN Main Switchboard (757) 226-7000.

UPDATE:  I've just spoken with Chris Roslan, the head of the PR firm that handles the 700 Club. I told him that merely editing Robertson's disgusting lie out of their re-airings of today's show is not good enough. Roslan said he'd not yet seen today's show and will call me back. I'll let you know if that happens.

UPDATE II: CBN has posted the YouTube clip of its daily segment Bring It On-Line (where the above clip is from) and Robertson's lie is still there as of this writing. Start at the 1:00 mark.

Eugene Delgaudio: I've Got One Million Petition Signatures Against ENDA

Back in May crackpot Eugene Delgaudio posted a video in which he displayed suspiciously light boxes which he claimed contained one million petition signatures against the "Homosexual Classrooms Act" (or as the rest of the world calls it, the Student Non-Discrimination Act).  Today's he's back with the same scam, but this time it's about ENDA.
Dear Joe, The Gay Bill of Special Rights (S. 815) has been sent to the Senate floor for the first time in almost 20 years. Public Advocate swung into action immediately. We have collected over 1 million signed pro-Family petitions and surveys against the Gay Bill of Special Rights. And in the video below, we deliver them all to the U.S. Senate. We have generated thousands of faxes, tens of thousands of phone calls, and untold numbers of emails. And we aren't finished yet. However, every single one of these actions costs money -- even printing out and delivering petitions gets expensive when you have a million to handle! Please consider chipping in with a generous donation right now to fund Public Advocate's fight against the Homosexual Lobby and S. 815, the Gay Bill of Special Rights.

Email Of The Day - Eugene Delgaudio

"Dear Joe, They could not ignore us. Thanks to quick and decisive action from Public Advocate supporters the Pennsylvania state government has filed a lawsuit against rogue county official D. Bruce Hanes in an effort to halt his outrageous violation of state law. After the state's Attorney General Kathleen Kane (D) publicly refused to defend Pennsylvania's marriage law, it seemed as if the Homosexual Lobby would add yet another rainbow-colored feather to their homosexual 'marriage' cap. But last Monday, Public Advocate supporters flooded the state capital with phone calls and demanded that Hanes be held accountable for his actions. The next day, Pennsylvania's Department of Health announced that they were suing Hanes for breaking the law. Won't you please consider chipping in $5 or $10 to help Public Advocate stay one step ahead of the radical Homosexual Lobby's assault on marriage and the family?" - Hate group crackpot Eugene Delgaudio, again taking credit for something he surely had nothing to do with.

Editorial Of The Day

From the Washington Post editorial board:
Last week Loudoun’s all-Republican board, correctly concluding that it must police its own members, followed suit by formally censuring Mr. Delgaudio. The board stripped him of office staff, barred him from serving on any local boards or commissions and seized control of his annual office budget of about $120,000. On his own authority, Mr. Delgaudio will now be allowed to use the office copier, up to a limit of $30 per month, and not much else.

The grand jurors made a special point of noticing that Mr. Delgaudio, preoccupied as he is by what he regards as the radical homosexual menace, has little time to deal with the actual problems of his constituents. This has been the real nub of the Delgaudio problem all these years — the man is not a public servant in any meaningful sense of the words.

In fact, he is a clown masquerading as a politician. He has repeatedly embarrassed the county and constituents he serves, saddling Loudoun with an ill-deserved aura of hayseedery. He owes his longevity in politics mainly to the fact that just a few thousand voters in each district turn out for the off-year supervisors’ elections in Loudoun; most of those who are eligible pay no attention. With luck, they will be on to Mr. Delgaudio, should he run in 2015, and send him packing.

Scott Lively Again Takes Credit For Russia's Ban On Homosexual Propaganda

"I can’t point to any country of the world today that is a model for the rest of the world, except perhaps for Russia, which has just taken the very important and frankly necessary step of criminalizing homosexual propaganda to protect the society from being 'homosexualzed.' This was one of my recommendation to Russian leaders in my 50-city tour of the former Soviet Union in 2006 and 2007.

"I strongly advise that you adopt an anti-propaganda law similar to what Russia has recently passed, to stop the 'gay' agenda from advancing any further that it may already have done.  It will also be necessary to uproot and discard any existing sexual orientation regulations (the bad seeds) which criminalize discrimination against homosexuality in your laws and in the official policies of your government agencies, universities, corporations, and NGOs." - Scott Lively, in a letter to a Hungarian anti-gay activist.

NOTE: Lively closes by suggesting that instead of gay, homosexuals should called "SADD".  As in "same-sex attraction disorder." Which would be SSAD, but whatevs, you freak show.

PREVIOUSLY ON JMG: Lively says God sent meningitis to punish gays.  Lively cheers Russia's gay "propaganda" ban. Lively claims to have exploded a Massachusetts strip club with his prayers. Lively applauds Uganda's brutal oppression of gay people. Lively launches Oklahoma campaign to legalize anti-gay discrimination. Lively says gay-friendly politicians should be tarred and feathered. Lively endorses life imprisonment for gay people in Uganda. Lively goes on trial for crimes against humanity.

"Ex-Gay" Pride Month Is Canceled

"Due to some anti-ex-gay extremism that has occurred since we first announced Ex-Gay Pride 2013, the July 31 Lobbying Day on Capitol Hill and Evening Dinner/Reception at the Family Research Council has had to be moved and postponed to an undisclosed location in September. The harassment has caused several security threats which has forced us to change plans, and that is unfortunate. However, we are committed to holding an alternate event in late July as well as supporting some other initiatives that our allies and fellow ex-gays are planning for July. These events are still in development and will not be announced until late next week. For all of our supporters that have made travel plans to attend the July 31 event, we sincerely apologize for having to change plans, but we thought it was in the best interest to ensure the safety and security of all participants and speakers.

"On the bright side, this harassment and anti-ex-gay extremism has reminded us just how intolerant some individuals and organizations are about the existence of ex-gays and former homosexuals. So much so, that we believe it is necessary not only to hold events in July for Ex-Gay Pride, but also to declare September as the First Annual Ex-Gay Awareness Month. Ex-Gay Awareness Month in September will be a time to reflect on the discrimination and marginalization that former homosexuals and ex-gays experience in the public at large. It will also provide some much needed exposure to students in secondary schools and colleges across the country to learn about the plights, challenges, and tribulations facing ex-gays in our culture." - Voice Of The Voiceless, announcing that July is no longer "Ex-Gay" Pride Month. Or something. Tens of tickets will have to be refunded!

RELATED: No word on whether their theme song contest has also been canceled.

VIRGINIA: Eugene Delgaudio Denounces God-Hating Liberals At County Meeting

Wednesday night the Board of Supervisors for Loudoun County, Virginia voted to spend $15,000 for an internal investigation of the charges that Eugene Delgaudio used county employees to perform fundraising work for his anti-gay hate group, Public Advocate. Delgaudio, who voted in favor of the investigation, spoke to the board. Here's a snippet of his tirade:
What an honor to be a substitute for Sarah Palin and Chick-fil-A in the media. The suicide bombers of the political left pull their own rings on their detonation devices as they advance on me, and Sterling, and all honest-to-God conservatives. Liberals blow themselves up as they approach me with their fantastic lies about what I do, and what all normal God-fearing Americans do, and I’ll explain that. The liberals destroy themselves with misrepresentations, mistruth, libel, slander, exaggeration and outright falsehoods, and victimize many innocent victims. This form of propaganda madness does no one any good. And they have failed and they will fail – four times with me. In my style, I often give you a hyperbole alert. OK, here it is, hyperbole alert: Around here in Washington, all you have to say is quote, ‘The Washington Post reports.’ Quote, unquote. The Washington Post has printed attacks on me for years; when I first came here in 1982, and probably a dozen times since I’ve been elected as supervisor. They oppose me and all Christians for taking a stand in support of the Boy Scouts traditional marriage and, yes, even eating chicken at the restaurant of your choice.
Delgaudio closed by characterizing himself as a "small David" fighting against the "foul-smelling, decaying corpse of the Washington Post."  The video of his speech is not embeddable but you can watch it here (Tipped by JMG reader Blair)

WND Continues "Gay Obama" Lies

Having gotten nowhere with his birther claims, crackpot Jerome Corsi today continued with World Net Daily's latest campaign to prove that President Obama is secretly gay. This time Corsi is claiming that the Obamas' marriage was arranged by Jesse Jackson, who apparently knew who was going to be president more than 20 years in the future.
Jackson explained to Michelle that she would live a life of luxury once Obama was president, and that she never again would have to worry about money. “Michelle was nasty, and most straight guys would never be able to put up with her moods and temperament,” Robyn maintained. “But Obama really didn’t care. Michelle had the credentials and she looked the part. Obama wasn’t interested in her for sex.” A source WND will identify as Hazel, a long-term member of the Trinity congregation, insisted Obama remained sexually involved with men after his marriage to Michelle. “I remember being at this function at Reverend Wright’s house, one of the many parties Wright had, in 1996,” Hazel recalled. “I went to the room where all the coats were on the bed, because I wanted to leave. I was surprised to find the light in the room was off and the coats were on the floor,” she said. “Then I realized there were two men hugging and kissing in there. One of those men was Obama. This was long before anybody knew Obama, before he became famous like he is today.”

"If you make the behavior of these people ... if children hear it, unsupervised children, okay who don’t have parents watching their -- they might go out and experiment with this stuff...When I was a teenager and I saw James Dean smoking, it made me want to smoke...a lot of these dopey kids are confused about who they are.
