Bristol Palin: I'm Pregnant Again

Abstinence scold Bristol Palin is pregnant again.
Bristol Palin says she's pregnant for a second time. The daughter of 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin announced the pregnancy on her blog Thursday. Her representative, David Martin, and Palin family lawyer John Tiemessen confirmed the blog post. The 24-year-old wrote that she knows this is a "huge disappointment" for her family, close friends and fans. She's asking people to respect her privacy, and that of her son Tripp, saying, "I do not want any lectures, and I do not want any sympathy. At the end of the day there's nothing I can't do with God by my side, and I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace."
She doesn't want any lectures? Oh, my sides.

Sarah Palin: Bristol's Wedding Is Off

"Bristol and Dakota couldn’t be more thankful for the love and support of family and friends over the past months while preparing for their wedding. They have informed loved ones that unfortunately the announced celebration planned for May 23 will not be held. Many friends and family still look forward to getting together that day in Kentucky anyway – and the Palins and Meyers are happily looking forward to still being at 'the old Kentucky home' on May 23 to celebrate life, in general!" - Sarah Palin, posting this afternoon to her Facebook page.

Via Radar:
On Friday, RadarOnline uncovered a dark secret the 24-year-old’s fiancé had been hiding – a wife! According to a marriage certificate obtained by Radar, Dakota Meyer was married to Michigan-based Cassandra Wain in 2008. While his lawyer has since confirmed a divorce — reportedly finalized in 2010 — the logistics of Meyer’s first marriage remain mysteriously unclear. In a long post on Facebook, Wain’s sister Raelyn Marie criticized Meyer for hiding his past from the Palins and involving Wain unnecessarily. Less than a day later, however, Raelyn and Cassandra both deleted their Facebook profiles. As Radar previously reported, Bristol and Dakota were set to tie the knot this very week. Interestingly, Bristol has traveled back to Alaska while Dakota remains in Kentucky. According to recent reports, Bristol has even been spotted without her (fairly large) engagement ring.

Bristol Palin: I'm Engaged

"Last night, Sgt Dakota Meyer proposed and I said yes! Dakota came to Alaska to film Amazing America with my mom last year. He met Tripp during that time, and I’ve seen him in a few places where our paths have crossed since. He’s visited us in Alaska, and I’ve visited his wonderful family in Kentucky. He’s wonderful with Tripp and I’m so proud to be marrying him. He’s so romantic! He asked me to marry him at a Rascal Flatts concert. The lead singer, Gary LeVox, dedicated 'Bless the Broken Road' to us, and then Dakota got down on one knee and proposed! It’s amazing to see what happens when you place everything in life in God’s hands. He really is good and His plans are so much greater than our own." - Bristol Palin, writing for her blog. CBS reports that Meyer is a Medal of Honor winner. (Tipped by JMG reader BK)

Cops Release Palin Family Brawl Report

From Talking Points Memo:
Amid the crackle and chaos of audio released by the Anchorage Police Department on Tuesday, an unmistakable voice could be heard. "Did you find your necklace?" the woman could be heard saying. "Track, that is such a God thing. See?" The voice almost certainly belonged to former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. The audio was released as part of hours of recordings made by Anchorage cops in the aftermath of an alcohol-fueled brawl at a house party in the city in September. The recordings were released along with photos from the scene, and they documented the surreal situation police were faced with when they rolled up to the party. People were scattering and the Palin family was hovering around a stretch Hummer limousine they had brought with them that night. Previously, eyewitnesses had largely blamed the Palins for the brawls, and police documented their findings in reports. But ultimately, prosecutors decided to bring no charges.
The above-linked piece includes transcripts of the audio and links to photos taken in the aftermath. Below is an audio excerpt starring Bristol Palin.

No Charges In Palin Family Brawl

Via the Alaska Dispatch:
Prosecutors won't proceed with charges in a brawl that involved several members of the Palin family, Anchorage police said Thursday. The news comes as Anchorage police released reports Thursday morning outlining witness statements in the fight. Police were called to South Anchorage regarding a brawl involving about 20 people that had broken out at Korey Klingenmeyer's house on the evening of Sept. 6. The event was a birthday party for brothers Marc and Matthew McKenna and Klingenmeyer’s son. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, her husband, Todd, and some of their children were there.

Five police officers wrote up police reports on the scene. More than 15 witnesses were interviewed, and the statements offer conflicting information regarding what happened. Overall, the accounts in the police report seemed to confirm, in broad terms, initial witness reports that surfaced before the police report's release. At least two fights appear to have broken out during the party, according to witness statements: a fight involving Track Palin, 25, and his father, Todd, and one involving Bristol Palin, 23, oldest daughter of the Palins. Seven witnesses verified Klingenmeyer’s account of being punched in the face repeatedly by Bristol Palin.
Lots more juicy details at the link.

Sarah Palin Praises Bristol For Defending Her Family At Infamous Drunken Brawl

"I love my Bristol! My straight-shooter is one of the strongest young women you'll ever meet. I have to say this as a proud mama: right up there with their work ethic and heart for those less fortunate, my kids' defense of family makes my heart soar! As you can imagine, they and my extended family have experienced so many things (liberal media-driven) that may have crushed others without a strong foundation of faith, and I'm thankful for our friends' prayer shield that surrounds them, allowing faith to remain their anchor. Thank you, prayer warriors! I love you!" - Sarah Palin, in a Facebook post apparently made in reference to reports that Bristol rained multiple punches down on the face of a man at that now legendary brawl. The Facebook post includes a photo of Bristol shooting a rifle.

ALASKA: Witness To Palin Family Brawl Gets Fired For Speaking To ABC News

Via Mediaite:
Entertainment Tonight producer Elizabeth Applegate tweeted that she’d spoken to Townsend this morning, who confirmed that he’d been fired specifically for talking to ABC. Weirdly enough, Political Gates reported that Thompson’s former employers, McKenna Brothers Paving, were the hosts of the party where the brawl took place. Last Saturday, many members of the Palin family attended a Wasilla party honoring the champions of the Iron Dog snowmobile race, and their presence eventually sparked a 20-person brawl — in which the Palins allegedly, wholeheartedly participated.

ALASKA: Palin Clan In Huge Brawl

This should prove fascinating
The details are a little sketchy, but there's enough of them, from enough different sources, that a story emerges, a story that according to the gossip Gods, looks kind of like this: There's some sort of unofficial birthday/Iron Dog-type/snowmachine party in Anchorage. A nice, mellow party, until the Palins show up. There's beer, of course, and maybe other things. Which is all fine, but just about the time when some people might have had one too many, Track Palin stumbles out of a stretch Hummer, and immediately spots an ex-boyfriend of Willow's. Track isn't happy with this guy, the story goes. There's words, and more. The owner of the house gets involved, and he probably wished he hadn't. At this point, he's up against nearly the whole Palin tribe: Palin women screaming. Palin men thumping their chests. Word is that Bristol has a particularly strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly, and it's something to hear when Sarah screams, "Don't you know who I am!"

Bristol Palin Attacks Wendy Davis

"Gosh, children are sooo inconvenient, huh? I’m glad my mother didn’t put motherhood on the shelf when she was elected to City Council, then became our mayor, then Governor. Oh sorry – I mentioned my mother… Have you liberals gone into a tail spin of hate already? Did I lose you? I know you would rather think about Wendy Davis, so let’s get back to her. She’s more your type of woman. She left her kid, husband, made it into a false 'made-for-tv-movie-type-tale' and then demanded that Texans have the right to kill babies. That’s the woman you libs can really get behind! Let me be clear. I think it’d be so nice to have a husband take care of me, and my son, so I could attend school. (Any school — let alone, Harvard!) But the way Wendy Davis did it – by getting married and leaving him as soon as the ink dried on his last check – is downright pathetic. Plus, it perfectly shows that – no matter what they say – feminism is a farce. If you truly believe in strong, independent women, you’d be a conservative." - Failed reality show contestant Bristol Palin, writing for Patheos. (Tipped by JMG reader Dan)

Bristol Palin: Leave Phil Robertson Alone

"Everyone needs to leave Phil Robertson alone for expressing his beliefs. I think it’s so hypocritical how the LGBT community expects every single flippen person to agree with their life style. This flies in the face of what makes America great – people can have their own beliefs and own opinions and their own ways of life. Everyone needs to treat others like God would, with love. It goes both ways. I hate how the LGBT community says it’s all about 'love' and 'equality.' However, if you don’t agree with their lifestyle, they spread the most hate. It is so hypocritical it makes my stomach turn. They need to learn how to respect others’ opinions and not just jump to the conclusion that everyone who doesn’t support homosexuality and gay marriage is homophobic. They take the easy way out every time anyone speaks out about their beliefs on the Bible. If I were Duck Dynasty, I would take my show to another channel. So much disrespect." - Bristol Palin, writing for Patheos(Tipped by JMG reader Dave)

Bristol Booted From DWTS

Despite an online ballot-stuffing campaign by teabaggers such as Kevin DuJan, last night Bristol Palin finally got the hook on Dancing With The Stars.  Via CBS News:
The Bristol effect, the surge of fan votes that kept Bristol Palin afloat and sank better performers, faltered in Week 4 as the 21-year-old Alaskan was sent packin'. Her ouster ends the specter of a rancorous repeat of 2010, when fan votes kept awful, awkward Palin on the show at the expense of much superior dancers. Palin, who is a much better performer now, was still a long notch below the half-dozen superb dancers in this season's lineup. It isn't only that Bristol is a mediocre dancer. There have been other performers with her lack of skills or even worse, who were immensely more fun to watch. She's just very young and a little boring. "We did it , we made it to Week 4, and I'm happy with that. I had an awesome time," said Palin as parents Todd and Sarah watched from the audience.

Anderson Cooper: Bristol Palin Needs To Get Off Television And Find A Job

"Anyone who is on a reality show knows that to get attention, you have to have a have a wardrobe malfunction, throw up, have a breakdown -- have a storyline. Bristol Palin is a genius because last night she developed a storyline that made her very sympathetic. I am thinking of starting a job fair for people…who need to get jobs [like] Lindsay Lohan, Bristol Palin. I think they just need to get jobs, stop being on TV!" - Anderson Cooper, speaking on his talk show after Bristol "stormed out" of her Dancing With The Stars rehearsal because her dance partner "wasn't being supportive." Bristol once again survived last night's elimination, leading to screams of "FIXED!" on Twitter.

Dancing With The Rednecks

Self-described "redneck girl" Bristol Palin received the lowest score on last night's edition of Dancing With The Stars after a country routine that ended with her smashing a beer bottle over her partner's head. Mama Grizzly applauded wildly from the audience.  The judges were not amused:
"You slammed us in the face by saying we're not gonna follow your rules," chastised judge Carrie Ann Inaba, "so guess what? We're slamming back." "But," she added, "I love watching you perform now." Len Goodman said he too appreciated Bristol's "fun enthusiasm," but criticized her technique. "I liked the hoedown, but the technique was a bit low down," he concluded. Not surprisingly, Bristol and Mark received the lowest score of the night, 18, and will likely be in jeopardy for the second week in a row on tomorrow night's (Oct. 2) elimination show.
Before the dance began, Bristol was shown firing a machine gun at an indoor shooting range. That will bring in the votes.

Quote Of The Day - Bristol Palin

"While I’m excited and thankful to be returning to Dancing With The Stars, not everyone is thrilled I’m coming back. When the new contestants participated in a panel discussion for the Television Critics Association’s summer tour, the critics’ disdain for me was obvious. While they asked many questions (or, really, just a few questions over and over), only one stands out in my mind: Would I mind dancing with a gay dance partner? [snip] In their simplistic minds, the fact that I’m a Christian, that I believe in God’s plan for marriage, means that I must hate gays and must hate to even be in their presence. Well, they were right about one thing: there was hate in that media room, but the hate was theirs, not mine." - Bristol Palin, who says she'd be happy to have a gay dance partner with no civil rights.

LOUSIANIA: Christian Charter School Tests Girls For Pregnancy, Boots Knocked-Ups

A Louisiana Christian charter school forced girls to take pregnancy tests. Those who tested positively were expelled.
Delhi Charter School's policy states the school seeks to maintain an environment where students will learn and exhibit acceptable character traits that govern language, gesture, physical actions and written words. "The school reserves the right to require any female student to take a pregnancy test to confirm whether or not the suspect student is in fact pregnant," the policy reads. The policy also allows the school to refer the student to a physician of its choice. "If the test indicates that the student is pregnant, the student will not be permitted to attend classes on the campus of Delhi Charter School."
Abortion must be the price of an education, right? After receiving a screaming letter from the ACLU, the school said today that it may change its expulsion policy upon the review of its board, but if any change comes it won't be until the next school year. It's not clear if the pregnancy tests will continue.

Bristol Palin: We Built This, Mr. President

Several days ago Bristol Palin, who has built a mini-media empire based on being a failed abstinence advocate, failed dancer, and failed reality star, blogged this appeal:
President Obama recently said, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” Small business owners all over America took offense at this incorrect view that government (instead of elbow grease, intelligence, and good-old-fashioned risk taking) is the bedrock of our economy. Since the President doesn’t understand how our economy works, let’s take a moment to explain how small businesses are created… More importantly, let’s show him the businesses we’ve made and who has made them. Please send me your photos — either e-mail me (via BristolsBlog @ gmail.com, without the space!) or tweet me at this blog’s brand new Twitter account (@BristolsBlog) using the hashtag #IBuiltThis.
Photos poured in and moments ago Mama Grizzly proudly tweeted out the link to the below video, which has over 70K views since Friday.

Three Year-Old Tripp Palin Says "Faggot"

Huffington Post reports:
The Palins have never been known for being particularly gay-friendly -- and unfortunately, it seems as if the youngest member of the family is following in the footsteps of his elders. A newly-released clip from the Lifetime reality series "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp" shows Tripp Palin uttering a homophobic slur when mom Bristol and aunt Willow won't let him visit the swimming pool. The Palin sisters gasp, and then giggle, when three-year-old Tripp's temper tantrum culminates in the tot calling his aunt a "faggot."
All in the family.
