Linda Harvey: Katy Perry Loves Satan

"The halftime performance of Katy Perry at the 2015 Super Bowl seemed to be all about choice. While the show was a spectacle on a grand scale, the content was shady. Perry held out foolish choices with eternal consequences on an altar of defiance. Sexual confusion is a natural companion to spiritual apostasy. Perry proceeded to bend over in some suggestive twerking with Lenny Kravitz and then sang another hit, telling us that she 'kissed a girl and liked it.' The lyrics go on to say, 'I hope my boyfriend don’t mind it.' This 2008 song is a prime expose of the lies embedded in the homosexual agenda. Not that Perry leads that effort. Just like her flirtation with Satan, she’s merely joining and providing theme music for a movement that long pre-dates her. There would be a predictable reaction if a well-known homosexual man crooned that he had 'kissed a boy and liked it' and he 'hopes his boyfriend don’t mind it.' If such a song even saw the light of day, it would be instantly labeled bigotry, hate and right-wing extremism. After all, one is never allowed to experiment in that direction. Satan and his mouthpieces will make sure such a notion never gains traction." - Linda Harvey, writing for Matt Barber's Barbwire. We have to presume Harvey meant "kissed a girl" in that last bit.

RELATED: According to numerous YouTube clips, Katy Perry is also a tool of the Illuminati, who are using her music videos to plant subliminal messages about Satan. Or something.

Katy Perry - Roar

Katy Perry today ended Robin Thicke's twelve-week run at the top of Billboard's Hot 100 with this track, her eighth number one pop single in only five years.  It's a bit odd that the production video hasn't come out until the single had already peaked.

Katy Perry On Obama's Evolution

"I was really happy; I probably went down to West Hollywood and had a shot. I came from a different mind-set growing up, and my mind has changed. My viewpoint on all these things—equality for women, the choice to love anyone you want—hopefully, we will look back at this moment and think like we do now concerning [other] civil rights issues. We’ll just shake our heads in disbelief, saying, ‘Thank God we’ve evolved.’ That would be my prayer for the future." - Katy Perry, speaking with Parade Magazine.

Top Hit Songs Of 2011

By weeks at #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart, here are the longest-running chart toppers of the year. This year saw an unusual number of long-lasting #1 singles, hence a fewer number of songs reached the top overall.

Seven Weeks: Adele - Rolling In The Deep
Six Weeks: LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem
Six Weeks: Lady Gaga - Born This Way
Five Weeks: Katy Perry/Kayne West - E.T.
Five Weeks: Rihanna/Calvin Harris - We Found Love
Five Weeks: Adele - Someone Like You
Four Weeks: Maroon 5/Christina - Moves Like Jagger
Three Weeks: Bruno Mars - Grenade
Two Weeks: Katy Perry - Firework*
Two Weeks: Katy Perry - Last Friday Night

The above ten tracks rode the top for a collective 45 weeks of the calendar year. Rihanna's We Found Love is in its fifth week at this writing, but is out of contention for single of the year as the Billboard chart year officially ended on the last week of November. That leaves the 2011 championship slot safely to Adele's Rolling In The Deep. Of slight interest, Bruno Mar's Grenade went to number one on three non-consecutive weeks. Only a handful singles have ever done that.

Keep in mind that since the advent of Soundscan, Billboard tabulates the year-end charts strictly by sales/airplay and no longer do weekly chart positions play into it. However the weekly chart results continue to be a fairly accurate predictor of the annual rankings. Releases whose popularity straddles two chart years (i.e. Firework, We Found Love) tend to get screwed on the annual list.

*Firework was also #1 for the last two weeks of 2010.

Glee Cast's Gay Cover Of Teenage Dream Debuts At #1 Digital, #8 Billboard Pop

The Glee cast's cover of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream, sung memorably on last week's episode from one boy to another, has debuted at #8 on Billboard's top ten, becoming the highest debuting single of the show to date. The single has also bowed at #1 on the Digital Sales chart with 214,000 downloads in one week, become the show's first chart topper ever. Again, a love song sung from one gay boy to another is number freakin' ONE in the country.

Sesame Street Censors Katy Perry

After a Facebook-based uproar from uptight anti-titty parents, Sesame Street has decided that they will not be airing a segment in which pop star Katy Perry sings to Elmo while wearing a low-cut costume.
Sesame Street has a long history of working with celebrities across all genres, including athletes, actors, musicians and artists. Sesame Street has always been written on two levels, for the child and adult. We use parodies and celebrity segments to interest adults in the show because we know that a child learns best when co-viewing with a parent or care-giver. We also value our viewer’s opinions and particularly those of parents. In light of the feedback we’ve received on the Katy Perry music video which was released on You Tube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschoolers.
The video can still be seen on YouTube.
