Sarah Palin To Hecklers: Get A Job
Sarah Palin dealt with a couple of hecklers on the way into last night's 40th anniversary edition of Saturday Night Live, where she appeared in a skit with Jerry Seinfeld to jokingly plug a Palin/Trump 2016 ticket. Palin was wearing the same mini-dress worn by her daughter Bristol at the 2011 White House Press Correspondents Dinner.

Victoria Jackson Updates Her "Smash Hit"
Clip description:
As a follow up to the smash hit, "There's a Communist Living in the White House," we have had 7 years to accumulate more information about the mysterious man who was voted into office by the uninformed masses, the deceived and those voters living off of the government who simply want "free stuff". TV commentators keep asking, "Why is Obama releasing dangerous terrorists?" and "Why won't he call it what it is?" Maybe because he is one of them. Maybe he is our enemy. Maybe Obama is a Muslim Jihadist. What's the difference between a Muslim and a Jihadist? If you follow Mohammed, you follow Mohammed.

Actress Jan Hooks Dies At Age 57
Such terrible news in the middle of an otherwise wonderful day.
Jan Hooks, who worked alongside some of the biggest "Saturday Night Live" stars died Thursday, TMZ has learned. She was 57. We've learned she passed away this morning in New York City. Sources tell us Jan had been battling a serious illness. Jan was part of the 'SNL' cast from 1986-91 - the same time as Chris Farley, Mike Myers, Phil Hartman, Dana Carvey, and Dennis Miller. She was most famous for being half of the Sweeney Sisters and also for her impressions of Sinead O'Connor and Hillary Clinton. She most recently played a part on "30 Rock." Right after 'SNL', Jan joined the cast of "Designing Women." She also had a famous role in "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure."I adored Hooks in everything she was in.

Announcer Don Pardo Dies At Age 96
Saturday Night Live announcer Don Pardo has died at the age of 96.
Pardo died peacefully at his home in Tucson, Arizona, where he moved after retiring from SNL in 2006, said his daughter, Dona Pardo. Creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels asked him to continue with the show, and for many weeks he recorded his introductions from his Tucson home, she said. Those introductions and his voice were so distinctive that longtime fans of the late-night sketch comedy series immediately noticed when he missed the opening of the March 2, 2013 episode; it was later reported that he had suffered a broken hip. Pardo, who began his career at NBC Radio in 1940 and switched to television in the 1950s, worked as an announcer on numerous game shows including The Price is Right and the original Jeopardy! in the mid-1960s. He was Jeopardy!'s announcer from 1964 until the original version, with host Art Fleming, ended in 1975. A decade later, in 1975, he turned to late night work, becoming the voice over announcer for the hit comedy series Saturday Night Live.

SNL: Dongs All Over The World
Us Magazine has the recap:
The new Lonely Island? Anna Kendrick hosted Saturday Night Live on April 5, and the Pitch Perfect 2 star brought several musical sketches along with her. One favorite entitled "Dongs All Over the World," featured some of of SNL's feistiest ladies -- including Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, and Sasheer Zamata -- singing about traveling the globe in search of international "dongs." In the vein of Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg's classic "Dick in a Box" sketch from 2006, the raunchy clip featured the five "nasty girls" singing about skipping the sites in favor of getting it on.

SNL Sketch: Obama Kisses Justin Bieber
Saturday Night Live opened last night with a stinker of a sketch which featured the president trying to create viral buzz for Obamacare.
In the final 48 hours before the deadline to sign up for healthcare, Obama’s aides forced him to be photographed in Pharrell’s hat and alongside Kim Kardashian and Harry Styles. And “a cat dressed as Elsa from Frozen.” And BatKid. And the Pope. As a last ditch effort, they even brought back Kate McKinnon’s Justin Bieber to do the most viral thing ever.

Teabagger Rep. Louie Gohmert Acts Out SNL Skit To Empty US House Chamber
Mediaite sets the stage:
The problem, in Gohmert’s estimation, is that the line Tina Fey delivered on Saturday Night Live as Palin — “I can see Russia from my house” — has overshadowed Palin’s actual quote to ABC News’ Charles Gibson concerning Russia’s proximity to Alaska. As Gohmert long-windedly explained from the House floor, what Palin actually said was, “You can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska.” To make his point, Gohmert read aloud lengthy excerpts from both the ABC News interview and the SNL sketch. “We know that Saturday Night Live has altered sketches that in the past, at least once, I recall seeing, where they were afraid it might make President Obama look bad and they certainly didn’t want to do that,” Gohmert said. “It’s OK to take shots at Republicans, but they certainly didn’t want to be fair and hit back at President Obama in the same way.” For the record, he did say that he thinks Lorne Michaels is a “comic genius.” From there, Gohmert proceeded to do the least funny reenactment of an SNL sketch ever, playing both Tina Fey as Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton.
