Prank Calling A Gay Conversion Camp
"For Mother's Day I decided to call a gay conversion camp to inquire about restoring my son to heterosexuality!" You might remember this guy's ebola/ISIS makeup tutorial.

Westboro Pranked For Thanksgiving
Via Pink News:
An online hoax has tricked thousands of people into calling the Westboro Baptist Church to ask about turkeys. An article from hoax site National Report claiming that turkeys were being recalled due to a dangerous strain of Avian flu went viral ahead of Thanksgiving this week, being shared thousands of times on Facebook. It claimed: “The CDC has confirmed that millions of turkeys have been recalled due to safety concerns over an avian virus that the birds may be harbouring. “The virus is related to human influenza virus but was thought to lack the ability to infect humans. Individuals that have purchased a turkey from any manufacturer are encouraged to call the Turkey Safety Hotline that has been established in collaboration with the CDC and several major turkey suppliers. “The hotline is available 24 hours a day at (785) 273-0325.” However, instead of the non-existent Turkey Safety Hotline, the number provided was actually the switchboard for the famously anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church – leading thousands of people to try and call them. The National Report is a satire site.

Anti-DUI Prank
Going viral with 1.5M views today. Clip recap:
Pranks typically have little depth to them other than terrifying some unfortunate soul or, in the case of pranks featured in viral marketing campaigns, trying to capture our attention for long enough to convince us to buy something. This prank, however, serves a much greater purpose. The anonymous prankee is taken to a "hospital bed" after passing out in his truck while driving back from a night of heavy drinking. His "Doctor" informs him that he went into a coma after crashing his vehicle, one that he has been in for 10 years. Whether this convinces the man to not drink and drive again remains to be seen, though pranker Tom Mabe certainly got his message across loud and clear. The 2023 news report on the hospital TV is worth waiting for.

Beer Prank
Clip recap:
"Me and the boys played a bit of a joke on our mate Russ. Kegs of beer have been plumbed into every tap in the house, with loads of cameras to catch the action. Took us all day to set up but it was worth it when the icy cool beer came pouring out."Top comment on YouTube: "It's not a joke. It's a MIRACLE."

Spot The Fake Bishop
That's him on the left.
Ralph Napierski, a self-appointed bishop from an apparently fictional order called Corpus Dei, managed to get through a checkpoint manned by Swiss Guards but was stopped before entering the Paul VI Hall, where the cardinals were gathering. Dressed in fake bishop’s vestments, complete with a purple sash, Mr Napierski smiled to photographers as he mixed with more than 140 cardinals from around the world as they filed into the hall to discuss the challenges facing the Church and possible “papabili” or papal candidates. He said that he was a member of the “Italian Orthodox Church”, which does not exist, and said the Catholic Church had made grave errors by allowing priests accused of child abuse to move around different parishes.

Zombie Experiment NYC
AMC wants New Yorkers to know that the Dish Network has dropped them and therefore no Walking Dead for you, Manhattan. Lots of screaming, but just as much "Get out of my way, corpse-face."

Pine-Sol Lady Loves Pranks
Something tells me that some of these poor actors are family. I actually met the Pine-Sol Lady at a Russian River gay bar, circa 1998. She's a party girl!
