Today On World Net Daily

We haven't heard much from anti-gay crackpot Elaine Donnelly since the repeal of DADT, but today she appears on World Net Daily to gleefully join in on wingnut claims that gay rapists are running rampant in the military.
Among the assaults formally reported, 88 percent of reports came from women and 12 percent from men. The numbers are getting dramatically worse. “The number of reports of sexual assaults among military personnel have actually increased by 129 percent since 2004,” said Center for Military Readiness President Elaine Donnelly, who pointed out the number of formal reports of sexual assault jumped from 1,275 to 2,949 in just eight years.

She told WND when factoring in civilians working for or around the military, the increase in that time is 98 percent. Women are identified as the attacker in just two percent of all assaults, meaning most men who suffer assault are targeted by other men. “So we’ve got a male-on-male problem here. The Department of Defense doesn’t want to comment on this. They know that the numbers are there. They say that they care, but all the attention is usually given to the female members of the military who are subjected to sexual assault,” Donnelly said.
WND fails to mention that the military recently launched a campaign that encourages the victims of sexual assault to come forward, hence the rise in reported incidents.  And even their own article fails to live up to their bombastic headline.

Elaine Donnelly Has The Sadz

"Even though Congress made it very clear and it's in the legislation that they intended the Defense of Marriage Act to be respected and honored on military bases, several times now the administration has allowed various branches of the service to disregard that. This is the most blatant example. I think West Point is going to disappoint many of its alumnus community. And I think that some people may start to question, What is the purpose of the military service academies." - Elaine Donnelly, speaking to the AFA's OneNewsNow. (Via Good As You)

GOP Platform On Military Slams "Social Experimentation" On LGBT Rights

FRC president Tony Perkins engineered the GOP plank against same-sex marriage. And now it appears that the detestable Elaine Donnelly had a hand in the plank about gays in the military.
President Obama's expansion of gay rights in the military, including on-base same sex marriage and wearing uniforms in gay pride parades, would be radically yanked back in a Mitt Romney administration, according to Republican platform positions taking shape in Tampa and OK'd by the candidate. "We're pushing back," said Elaine Donnelly, of the conservative Center for Military Readiness. "This is pretty big."

While one subcommittee was tightening anti-abortion and "traditional marriage" language that won praise from the Family Research Council, a national security team moved rapidly to pull back expanded gay rights derided by critics as "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered Law." New language included rejecting "the use of military as a platform for social experimentation," and a demand that the military provide "objective and open-minded" recommendations to the president on personnel policies. The brass has been criticized for bowing to Obama's move to expand gay rights in the military.
With this and the marriage plank I can't imagine more vivid proof that the GOP is entirely in the hands on anti-gay hate groups. So much for all these Log Cabin claims about inclusion.

Elaine Donnelly Is Ever So Pissed

"It is very inappropriate for uniformed members of the armed forces to be marching in a gay pride parade, in this case. This is the kind of thing many of us predicted if the 1993 law were repealed. We warned we would have manifestations of a San Francisco military. That is ludicrous to say that only one time in San Diego people would be allowed to march in uniform. Do we think that Nancy Pelosi in her district in San Francisco, that she would stand for the Department of Defense having one standard for San Francisco and one for San Diego?" - Elaine Donnelly, riding the waambulance.

Elaine Donnelly: Still Pissed

"In the presence of President Obama, gay activists were dancing, literally dancing together as same-sex couples to the Marine Corps band. You had some of them taking pictures of themselves making an obscene gesture to the portrait of President Ronald Reagan. They are using the culture of obedience in the military to advance the LGBT agenda. The next president of the United States must put an end to these kinds of demonstrations. They certainly should not be extended to military bases around the world." - Elaine Donnelly, desperately in need of a new gig.

Elaine Donnelly: Pissed At The Pentagon

Elaine Donnelly is pissed. Hurray!
And what kind of effect will such celebrations have on people of faith in the military, including chaplains? “Zero tolerance,” Donnelly said. ” … If you don’t agree, you can end your military career. A Coast Guard [member] initially lost his job for merely inquiring about privacy. Military LGBT law works to stifle and end careers of those who disagree.” She also pointed out that a lack of an exodus from the military is no indicator that things under the LGBT law are working for everyone. “Military culture has always been one of obeying orders, and soldiers have been ordered to abide by LGBT law,” Donnelly explained. “Also, many troops who would have ordinarily left under such pretenses remain at their posts because of the declining economy and a lack of jobs out there.”
Just because it's working doesn't mean it's working. Duh!

DADT Repeal Impact: NONE

From a story in North Carolina's Fayetteville Observer:
After several months, the impact, according to the military, was summed up by Pentagon spokesman Capt. John Kirby: "Impact?" he said. "Negligible, if that." Across the military, retention is high. Recruitment is at 100 percent of goals. Military officials say they're unaware of any discipline issues relating to gays serving openly. Among the staunchest critics of repealing the law is Elaine Donnelly, the president of the Center for Military Readiness, a private advocacy group in Michigan. She said studies the military quoted were biased, primarily out of a fear that a politically correct Congress would slash military funding if the Pentagon stood up in opposition to the repeal. "It's more than a bias - it's a mandate" that studies must support the repeal, she said. She said it is too soon to see any effects, and that a bad economy had masked what would be seen in coming years as problems with retention and recruiting.
Poor Elaine Donnelly. She's gotta find a new gig.

Elaine Donnelly Sues U.S. Navy

Ever since the repeal of DADT, we haven't much from Elaine Donnelly and her so-called Center For Military Readiness. Probably because all those gay rapes and soldier defections never happened. But here she comes with a new angle of asshattery.

Via World Net Daily:
A federal Freedom of Information Act lawsuit has been filed against the U.S. Navy over the manipulation of “gay” data used to convince Congress to overturn the centuries-old ban in the U.S. military on open homosexuality. It was the military’s original and now-suspect report that famously was quoted as affirming “70 percent” of the nation’s military members believe the repeal of the long-standing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” practice of allowing homosexuals to serve as long as they kept their sexual lifestyle choices to themselves would have either “a neutral or positive impact on unit cohesion, readiness, effectiveness and morale.” However, the IG in documents uncovered by Elaine Donnelly of the Center for Military Readiness revealed the actual figures for military members were: those who believed the change would impact units “very positively” (6.6 percent), “positively” (11.8 percent), “mixed” (32.1 percent), “negatively” (18.7 percent), “very negatively” (10.9 percent) and “no effect” (19.9 percent). The only way the 70 percent figure can be reached is to combine “very positively,” “positively,” “mixed” and “no effect.” But this combination counts people with “neutral positions” as favoring the change, Donnelly reported.
Donnelly is being represented by the Thomas More Law Center, an outfit of pro bono nutjobs that regularly sues school boards to force Christian prayers upon unwilling children.

Hate Group Laments DADT Repeal

"The law requires more than just Power Point presentations. The administration is supposed to describe exactly what will happen under the new LGBT law. But they haven't done that! They're barreling ahead anyway. The president is just determined to impose LGBT law on the military, regardless of the concerns of Congress. Without the law on the books, they will go into court and challenge anything that stands in the way of what they perceive as a civil rights issue." - Center for Military Readiness shrew Elaine Donnelly, who adds that the "next president should resolve to take our military back."

Elaine Donnelly On DOMA & DADT

Elaine Donnelly of the anti-gay Center for Military Readiness is backing a bill that bans federal policy changes that violate DOMA.
"The reason this [amendment] is necessary is because the Department of the Navy, in particular, has already signaled that contrary to assurances given to Congress, they are quite prepared to start conducting same-sex marriages on military bases -- which would, for the sake of consistency, lead to the extension of benefits to these same-sex couples," says Donnelly." And the Defense of Marriage Act would preclude that, she argues. "In fact, the extension of benefits to same-sex couples on the same basis as opposite-sex couples probably could blow a hole in the Department of Defense budget."
The bill, coauthored by wingnut GOP Rep. Virginia Foxx and GOP Rep. Dan Burton, has no real shot of passage in the Senate.

Elaine Donnelly: The DADT Fix Was IN!

"The results of the Pentagon survey had actually been pre-scripted as early as July of 2010, even before the survey of the troops went out. Somebody leaked to The Washington Post a highly misleading story. It misrepresented the views of the troops and suggested that about 70 percent of them were just fine with repeal of the law on gays in the military. They were used as props in a campaign to create the illusion of military support for repeal of the law. All of this was done to help the president to deliver on a political promise." - Center For Military Readiness hate group head Elaine Donnelly, claiming that the DOD's survey on the repeal of DADT was "fixed" in advance.

Hate Group Launches Secret DADT Complaint Line To Congress

Evil witch Elaine Donnelly and her Center for Military Readiness have launched a new way for soldiers to secretly complain to Congress about the repeal of DADT.
An advocate for America’s fighting men and women is encouraging members of the military to let their representatives in Congress know about the devastating consequences of the new policy which will allow homosexuals to thrust their deviant lifestyle on the military. "There is a location on the site called 'Confidential Contact.' Anyone can go there," she explains. "There is a place there to indicate military service. We never repeat names and we can convey messages on behalf of anyone on active duty service to anyone in Congress. They can also directly write their own member of Congress, but there are some issues that are bigger than individuals. What is going on right now is something that the full Congress needs to investigate.”

Hate Groups Back Pawlenty On DADT

"I think he's showing that he is more willing to listen to the voices of combat personnel and leaders than the current administration -- and certainly more so than are the members of Congress, who recklessly rushed to repeal a law that enjoyed such widespread support among the military." - Elaine Donnelly of the Center For Military Readiness, responding to former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty's pledge to reinstate DADT should he become president.

Numerous other anti-gay groups have praised Pawlenty's promise to defend DOMA and reinstate DADT.

Porno Pete To Ann Coulter: Give Your GOProud Money To Anti-Gay Hate Groups

"We at AFTAH have an idea: how about if Coulter donates her GOProud speaking fee to two worthy pro-family organizations whose mission (we hope) Coulter agrees with more than that of the phony 'conservatives' over at GOProud, who put 'gay rights' above traditional values. Here are two wonderful groups that could benefit from GOProud’s cash (via Coulter):
* Elaine Donnelly’s Center for Military Readiness, which has led the way in battling President Obama’s reckless plan to homosexualize the U.S. military in a time of war (GOProud supports the Democrat-led effort to repeal the ban on open homosexuals in the military)

* Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) — this worthy yet perpetually underfunded organization stands up for the rights of former homosexuals — who regularly get demonized and sometimes bullied by the supposedly “tolerant” Homosexual Activist Lobby.
"If Coulter insists on going forward with the GOProud speech — even though the organization supports many of the same homosexual-agenda goals of other 'gay' activist groups, then maybe she can make it count for some good by helping to sustain the noble work of these two fine organizations." - Porno Pete LaBarbera, writing from his dildo-strewn basement dungeon in suburban Chicago.

CPAC: Anti-Gay DADT Press Conference

Elaine Donnelly, Tony Perkins, and other assorted bigots gathered at CPAC today to slam the DADT repeal attempt. Retired Admiral James Lyons, who is in his early 100s, recalls that homos were once so rife in the Navy, that mothers refused to allow their sons to join. Fortunately, the Navy is no longer gay. At all. For realz.
