PETITION: Stop Megyn Kelly
From the petition:
Megyn Kelly apparently finds the state of our union amusing and "fun", whereas the viewers (our fellow citizens) deserve a much more serious moderator. In addition, she had a clear agenda to attack Donald Trump, by tenaciously clinging to his past rather than his vision for the future. She focused on Trump personally, rather than politically. Ultimately, she did not not live up to the "fair and balanced" slogan at Fox News and News Corporation. While her disdain for Mr. Trump was evident, this peititon is a call for truly fair and balanced coverage of ALL candidates. Thus, Megyn Kelly should be barred from hosting or moderating all future Republican Presidential Debates.Donald Trump hasn't signed. Yet!

Trump Disinvited From RedState Event
Trump was to be tonight's headliner and most of the other GOP candidates will be speaking there this weekend. While we enjoy the escalating teabagger implosion, let's not forget that Erick Erickson, the person now leading the charge against Donald Trump, regularly calls you a NAMBLA-supporting member of the gaystapo and a hell-bound mentally ill homofascist. Erickson has also called the First Lady a "Marxist harpy wife" and called a member of the Supreme Court a "goat-fucking child molester." And then there are the times that newly-minted feminist Erick Erickson refers to "ugly feminazis" who should "get in the kitchen and learn to cook." Oh, but he totally has the right to the moral high ground regarding Donald Trump.

Megyn Kelly: My Interview With The Duggars Won't Be A Cross-Examination
More from Mediaite:
The Fox host was particularly outraged by the way some in the media have highlighted connections between the Duggars and Republican presidential candidates like Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum. “Bill Clinton was accused of rape. He has been accused by several women of sexually assaulting them,” Kelly stated. But the fact that a presidential candidate has posed with some random member of the family that’s going through this issue is somehow a problem for the GOP’ers?” For the record, several candidates have posed with Josh Duggar and not just random members of his family. “I’ve been pretty disgusted by how some liberal media types are using what’s obviously a family tragedy to score political points,” Howard Kurtz agreed, but also admitted that “sometimes people on the right feast on, when a liberal icon falls into trouble.”

Homocon Guy Benson: I Recognize That I Stand Of The Shoulders Of Leftist Gays
Yesterday Townhall political editor and Fox News commentator Guy Benson came out in an upcoming book. He then appeared on Megyn Kelly's show where he said this:
"I just want to acknowledge, quickly, that I recognize that I am so fortunate to live in a country and an era where we can be having this exact kind conversation on national television. And I recognize that a lot of that is due to the fact that I'm standing of the shoulders of people who've worked very hard for a very long time, who probably don't share my political persuasion. So I just want to give them some credit in this. But I think when that crosses some threshold into punishing and purging dissenters and trying to exact punishments on people for not agreeing, that is not what we should be about in this country. I think we should be better than that in this country."Townhall, it must be pointed out, is one of the most viciously anti-gay sites in all of Teabagistan and regularly publishes columns from the likes of Matt Barber and other anti-gay hate group leaders.

American Family Association: Gays Don't Deserve Civil Rights Because AIDS
The American Family Association is going after Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly for suggesting that all this RFRA uproar would go away if LGBT Americans were simply added to state anti-discrimination laws. Here's their reason:
With all due respect Megyn Kelly, you are wrong. Homosexuals do not need to be a protected class along with blacks. In fact, you do African Americans and civil rights leaders an injustice by comparing homosexuals to blacks that weren’t allowed to vote and were deprived of certain God given rights prior and during the civil rights era. By classifying homosexuals as a “protected class” you are condoning the behavior that the World Health Organization concluded “men who have sex with men are 19 times more likely to have HIV than the general population”. So Megyn, with all due respect, do you still think homosexuals should be a protected class? I would hope not.The above post was written by Walker Wildmon, son of AFA president Tim Wildmon and grandson of AFA founder Don Wildmon. He concludes by declaring that he doesn't hate gay people. Of course. (Via Good As You)

Tony Perkins Turns On Mike Pence
"What the governor did today, and Mike's been a longtime friend of mine, but what he did is I think he emboldened his enemies and he enraged his friends. And there are people that are deeply concerned about the growing intolerance towards religious freedom in this country and they were very disappointed. There's no question about it. However this language, this fix, we've still not seen it yet and there's still an opportunity, I think, to salvage the heart and soul of what this religious freedom restoration act was intended to do."

Tony Perkins Raises The Tired Ham Sandwich In Kosher Deli Meme On Fox
"In a civil society we would say, 'Oh, you don't want to service me? Fine. I'll go next door, I'll go down the street.' Who would fathom the idea of going into a kosher deli and demanding a ham sandwich? We wouldn't tolerate that!"

Perkins Attacks Obama Over Comments Made At National Prayer Breakfast
Last night Perkins sent this press release:
In a speech that I can only describe as surreal, the President went on to liken Christians to the monsters behind ISIS and American racism. "And lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ." First of all, the crusades were almost a thousand years ago. ISIS is killing today. What's more, every true follower of Christ condemns the acts of barbarism committed under the mask of religion -- in medieval or American history. The teachings of Christianity do not call for, nor do they condone, brutality or bigotry. Can the same be said of Islam? Are Muslims around the world denouncing the ruthless and inhumane actions of ISIS?And then he rushed to Fox News.

Megyn Kelly Intro's Mike "Fuckabee"
Via United Press International:
Fox News host Megyn Kelly slipped up in a pretty big way Monday night while introducing former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee. "Joining me now, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who is the host of Fucka-- ah, Huckabee right here on the Fox News channel..." Kelly pressed on, getting only a small smile from the governor. But the Huck-up got plenty of notice on social media, and Kelly addressed the gaffe later in the show.

Perkins Celebrates Hate Summit On Fox
Tony Perkins is again fashioning himself as a king-maker, therefore hate summit straw poll winner Ted Cruz is going to be our next president. Perkins and host Megyn Kelly then go on to denounce any criticism of Cruz. And notice the dismissive comments about not-anti-gay-enough Rand Paul. "He's trying. At least he put forth an effort," shrugs Perkins.

Tony Perkins Implies That Right Wing Watch Is Lying About The Benhams
Last night Tony Perkins appeared on Fox News to imply that Right Wing Watch is lying about the Benham brothers, saying they are "about as reliable as the Obamacare website." Right Wing Watch, as you know, always backs up their reports with audio, video, and verbatim quotes that link directly to the douchebag being cited. Media Matters has more:
Fox News host Megyn Kelly invited anti-gay hate group leader Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council (FRC) to comment on HGTV's decision to cancel a program that would have starred a rabid anti-gay extremist, pushing the FRC's own talking points to baselessly frame HGTV's decision as an attack on Christians. During the May 8 edition of The Kelly File, Kelly asked Perkins to weigh in on the controversy. Kelly suggested that while HGTV would have been condemned for cancelling a show featuring gay stars, the Benhams were being punished because, unlike gay people, Christians' rights aren't as "protected and recognized in this country": KELLY: "If HGTV had a couple of hosts who are about to launch a TV show and it came out that they were gay and then they pulled the plug on them because they're gay, the backlash would be enormous in this country, and that's because gay rights are more and more protected and recognized in this country. Christian beliefs and Christian rights, not so much."Watch below.
