Today In Open Carry Crazy People

Arizona-based trucker and devout "lover of Christ" Rob Kinnison, whose YouTube channel is laden with obscenity-heavy anti-gay rants, is very angry with the gun control group Moms Demand Action. Via Wonkette:
Rob Kinnison is probably not the kind of spokesperson open carry advocates would select for themselves, but that’s not how it works anymore. How it works now is you just yell really loud and threaten people on the internet. That’s what Rob Kinnison did when he learned that the group Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is pushing Kroger grocery stores to revise their policy of letting people like Rob Kinnison go shopping with locked and loaded assault rifles on their persons. But really, isn’t it about time you met Rob Kinnison, your new most despicable person of the hour, who legally owns several guns and loves to walk around with them in grocery stores such as Kroger because there’s something or some things wrong with him?
Wonkette suggests turning down your speakers.

The Lord's Army

From Stuff Fundies Like: "These are college students at West Coast Baptist College. The dean of students is leading them in singing a popular fundy children’s song. With motions. Which is a pretty good example of how they view student maturity at WCBC."

New Zach Dasher Ads: Bibles And Guns Brought Us Here & They'll Keep Us Here

In three new campaign ads, the US House bid of Louisiana's Zach "My Platform Begins With God" Dasher is endorsed by Phil Robertson (Dasher's uncle), and Sen. Ted Cruz, who's apparently OK with vertical cellphone video ads. Via NOLA.com:
Fifth Congressional District candidate Zach Dasher's new ad says he believes in guns, and he's just unloaded the biggest gun he has. Dasher's uncle, "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson, appears in two new television ads that will run district-wide Monday until Election Day on Nov. 4. The campaign described it as a "significant buy" but would not disclose exact figure for the buy.

Dasher, a Republican, is trying to unseat incumbent Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz. McAllister is a former Robertson family ally, but he lost favor with the famous family from West Monroe after video surfaced earlier this year of the married congressman kissing a married female staffer.

The two 15-second ads show images of Robertson and Dasher while Robertson touts Dasher's conservative and religious values while praising his nephew for his strong moral character. One ad shows Robertson holding an assault-style rifle while he explains the importance of "Bibles and guns." "Bibles and guns brought us here, and Bibles and guns will keep us here," Robertson says in the ad. "Zach Dasher believes in both. That's why I'm voting for him."
Dasher has also been endorsed by Sarah Palin and by fellow Louisiana native Tony Perkins.

PENNSYLVANIA: Former Sheriff Warns Critics: Your Fucking Day Is Coming

As you might recall, last year small town Pennsylvania sheriff Mark Kessler lost his job after posting a series of chilling videos in which he denounced "libtards" while firing semi-automatic weapons. Over 700 gun-brandishing Tea People descended on Kessler's town for the meeting at which he was first suspended. Today Kessler is back with a video in which he warns his critics that "your fucking day is coming." He closes with another furious round of bullets. (Tipped by JMG reader Joe)

UPDATE: Kessler has made his video private. Raw Story has posted their own copy.

The Christian American Patriots Militia

JMG reader Steven sends us the above from the Facebook page of Christian American Patriots Militia. Note the hundreds of shares and the date of November 19th, which was the day of Larry Klayman's call for the beginning of "the second American revolution." From their Facebook page:
These rogues and thugs are in fact supplanting our Constitution with a communist Oligarchy of corrupt political and legal elites. Christian American patriots, this is no time to be silent nor to sit. (Romans 1:16) We must NOW RISE and FIGHT VIGOROUSLY to protect our nation and our posterity. Your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren depend on you. We need no further evidence that those we trusted are not honoring their oaths: Their oaths are not sacred to them---abusing us and disobeying God. Therefore, it is time that we remove them from their duties. It is time to act; and we pray that God give us guidance as we do.

PENNSYLVANIA: Gilberton Police Chief Says "Fuck All You Libtards Out There"

Raw Story reports:
The mayor of Gilberton, Pennsylvania is standing by her city’s police chief despite a series of profanity-laced and threatening videos. In a video that has received wide attention, police chief Mark Kessler repeatedly tells those upset by his use of profanity to “go f*ck yourself” as he fires various automatic weapons.

Mayor Mary Lou Hannon told The Morning Call that Kessler had the right to express himself. The city would “not take action to quash free speech, whether or not each member of council or any member of council agrees with it.” Kessler has uploaded several profanity-laced videos to YouTube. In one video, Kessler berates “libtards” and warns of an armed rebellion against the government.

“F*ck all you libtards out there, as a matter of fact, read my shirt,” he says, turning around to show a message on his back which read, “Liberals take it in the a**.” “You take it in the ass and I don’t give a f*ck what you say so you can all just go f*ck yourselves. Period. I wont be going to D.C. and I don’t give a f*ck. If you f*cking maniacs want to turn this into an armed revolt, knock yourselves out. I’m not about that, so see you on the other side.”
Gilberton has a population of 687. They need a police chief?

FREAK SHOW: Teabagger Website To Give Away One Gun Per Week Until Election Day

The Daily Caller, which was founded by proud gay-basher Tucker Carlson, announced today that it will give away a "high-capacity" handgun per week until our Kenyan Communist Gay President is toppled in November. Can this possibly be legal? Surely some states must outlaw such nuttery.

Two U.S. House Reps Seek To Reinstate Domestic Propaganda Program

Two members of the U.S. House, one from each party, are seeking to lift a decades-old ban on distributing pro-America propaganda campaigns within the United States. Congress passed bills in 1948 and again in 1987 to protect American audiences from disinformation campaigns created by the U.S. government for use overseas.
The bi-partisan amendment is sponsored by Rep. Mark Thornberry (R) from Texas and Rep. Adam Smith (D) from Washington State. In a little noticed press release earlier in the week — buried beneath the other high-profile issues in the $642 billion defense bill, including indefinite detention and a prohibition on gay marriage at military installations — Thornberry warned that the current law “ties the hands of America’s diplomatic officials, military, and others by inhibiting our ability to effectively communicate in a credible way.” The bill's supporters say the informational material used overseas to influence foreign audiences is too good to not use at home, and that new techniques are needed to help fight Al-Qaeda. Critics of the bill say there are ways to keep America safe without turning the massive information operations apparatus within the federal government against American citizens. [snip]

The new law would give sweeping powers to the State Department and Pentagon to push television, radio, newspaper, and social media onto the U.S. public. “It removes the protection for Americans,” says a Pentagon official who is concerned about the law. “It removes oversight from the people who want to put out this information. There are no checks and balances. No one knows if the information is accurate, partially accurate, or entirely false.” According to this official, “senior public affairs” officers within the Department of Defense want to “get rid” of Smith-Mundt and other restrictions because it prevents information activities designed to prop up unpopular policies—like the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The House version of the defense authorization bill passed today. The Senate takes up their version of the bill shortly.

NORTH CAROLINA: Man Films Himself Firing A Shotgun Into Neighbor's Yard Sign Against Amendment One

How is NOM going to spin THIS? Somebody please mirror this clip immediately onto your own YouTube channel and send me a back-up link.

UPDATE: Thanks folks, we've now got back-up copies of this shameless assholery. I'm saving your links in case NOM talks this guy into pulling his own clip. In the meantime, please do NOT flag him on YouTube. Let this go viral.

UPDATE II:
I have spoken to the Kannopolis, North Carolina police department and they are looking into what will be classified a crime if the shotgun was fired onto property that includes a home or business. Kannopolis is 20 minutes outside of Charlotte, so let's also get this on the radar of local media.UPDATE III: As we expected, the clip's maker has pulled it from YouTube. I've replaced the clip with one of the many mirrored copies you folks have made. Thanks!
