I Bind You, Nancy

The first question Pat Robertson fields from an alleged viewer today involves the proper way to cast out a demon who keeps coming back and coming back.  Somehow Robertson doesn't mention Trump by name.

Brian Brown: We Have A Post-SCOTUS Plan But First You Need To Send Us Money Before We Can Tell You About It

"Let me assure you, we do have a plan. In fact, I just met this week with our senior team of staff and advisors to go over the plan, and we will be putting final touches on it over the next several days. We know just what needs to be done. It's an aggressive plan that we pray will never have to see the light of day. Why do I say that? Because will have to implement it only if, God forbid, the Supreme Court does the unthinkable and decides that the true nature of marriage as God created it and as it has existed in virtually every civilization since the dawn of time is no longer the law in America. It's bizarre to even think of that as a possibility, but we have a plan ready to go if they do.

"While we will be ready to act immediately when the US Supreme Court issues their decision — no matter what it is — it does concern me greatly that we do not have the financial resources in hand to implement our plan. As you know, we expended everything we had on the March for Marriage several weeks ago when we brought 15,000 marriage supporters to our nation's capitol to show the Court and our national leaders that the American people continue to support marriage and they are demanding that their votes and their values be upheld. I need to ask you a tough question: are you as ready as we are to fight for marriage once the Supreme Court issues their decision?" - Hate group leader Brian Brown, in a money beg posted today on NOM's blog.

Brian Brown: A Fresh Breeze Is Blowing

From today's money beg:
We have an incredible amount of work to do in the next two months... preparing for the pending decision by the Supreme Court; launching a nationwide effort to pass legislation to protect people from having to participate in same-sex 'weddings' in states that have redefined marriage (or in the event that the Supreme Court redefines marriage in every state); preparing a new grassroots educational effort we have been developing to help teach people the importance of marriage to society and especially children; pushing a federal constitutional amendment to preserve marriage; working with allies in support of religious liberty legislation; and preparing to make support for marriage a key factor in next year's presidential race.

As I have always said, no politician or judge — not even the US Supreme Court — has the power to redefine marriage. Marriage was created by God at the dawn of Creation to bring the two halves of humanity together for their benefit and to provide the ideal environment for any children born of their union. Marriage is a universal truth and if the marriage movement experiences a Roe type of ruling, then just like the pro-life movement we will pursue the long path to reversing such a ruling. Win or lose before the Supreme Court, we will always fight for marriage. But clearly and unmistakably, we have a chance to win before the Supreme Court and the next two months could make all the difference.
Since everything is pretty much finished except for the waiting, this money beg will obviously help fund NOM's attempt to thwart LGBT rights overseas.

Pat Robertson Gives Up On Gay Marriage

"Marriage is between a man and a woman and they’ve now brought cases to the Supreme Court saying, well, the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional and so forth. So what should you do? You better get on your knees and pray and let the Lord take care of it because there isn’t a whole lot else you can do."

Mike Huckabee: I Never Tried The "Miracle Diabetes Cure" That I've Been Pitching

The New York Times reports:
In his diabetes video, Mr. Huckabee promotes the “Diabetes Solution Kit,” a $19.95 booklet with advice on eating, exercise and dietary supplements. “Just sit tight,” he says in the two-minute, 40-second pitch, “because in a moment, a free presentation is coming up.” He promises it will reveal “all the natural secrets that are backed by real science that really work.” But rather than science, the second, lengthier video peddles a diabetes “cure” consisting of cinnamon and chromium picolinate. Both the American Diabetes Association and the Canadian Diabetes Association warn that dietary and herbal supplements are ineffective for treating diabetes, which is an epidemic in the United States and is tied to obesity.

“Most big pharma companies don’t know squat about how to reverse your diabetes,” the video says. Mr. Huckabee, who lost more than 100 pounds after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2003, says in the video, “Techniques just like you’re going to find in this kit worked for me.” Asked this month at an appearance in Iowa if he had used cinnamon and chromium picolinate to reverse his diabetes, he said he had not. “No, I reversed it by taking better care of my health,” he said. Pressed about the dietary supplements promoted by the company he endorses, for which he was paid an undisclosed fee, he said: “I’ll do anything that promotes good health. Yes, sir.”
Subscribers to Huckabee's mailing list have also received a pitch for a "miracle cancer cure hidden in the bible." That one costs $72.

Headline Of The Day

From the website of Creflo Dollar:
“We are asking members, partners, and supporters of this ministry to assist in the undertaking of an initiative called Project G650. The mission of Project G650 is to acquire a Gulfstream G650 airplane so that Pastors Creflo and Taffi and World Changers Church International can continue to blanket the globe with the Gospel of grace. We are believing for 200,000 people to give contributions of 300 US dollars or more to turn this dream into a reality—and allow us to retire the aircraft that served us well for many years.”
Dollar has a personal wealth in the tens of millions and lives in a multi-million dollar mansion. But Jesus needs a $65M jet.

Pat Robertson Has The Florist Sadz

"This is outrageous. To tell a florist that she’s got to provide flowers for a particular kind of wedding? What if somebody wanted to marry his dog? She’s got to have flowers for that? What if there’s a polygamous situation where a guy has five wives and he wants to have five ceremonies and she’s going to be forced by the law to provide them flowers? This is crazy!"

Convicted Felon Praises Huckabee's 2016 Presidential Bid With Shout Of Hallelujah

After grifting untold millions out of old ladies, in 1988 Jim Bakker was sentenced to 45 years in federal prison following his conviction on 24 felony charges that included mail and wire fraud. Bakker was paroled after only five years when the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld his conviction but voided the original lengthy sentence. Bakker is back at his old con and yesterday hosted Mike Huckabee, who brought Bakker to his feet with a shout of "hallelujah" when Huckabee restated his possible run for president.

Pat Robertson Tries To Keep Former VA Gov. Bob McDonnell Out Of Prison

Via the Associated Press:
Former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell should perform community service rather than serve prison time for his federal corruption convictions, an international relief organization said Tuesday. Operation Blessing International said it offered McDonnell jobs heading its hunger relief program in Appalachia or working at its orphanage and fish farm in Haiti if U.S. District Judge James Spencer agrees to spare McDonnell prison time.

"As with his volunteering during Hurricane Katrina, Bob has shown an authentic willingness to serve others no matter how difficult the task," group president Bill Horan said in a statement. "We believe that we can leverage his energy and expertise to better serve those in need."

Operation Blessing spokesman Chris Roslan said the organization collaborated with defense attorneys ahead of Tuesday's deadline for lawyers to file sentencing recommendations. Virginia Beach-based Operation Blessing was founded by religious broadcaster Pat Robertson. McDonnell is a graduate of Robertson's Regent University law school.
McDonnell is due for sentencing early next month. Operation Blessing, of course, has long been saddled with accusations of fraudulent practices.
