Ann Coulter: I Want To Drown Libertarians
"The biggest current danger for Republicans is that idiots will vote for Libertarian candidates in do-or-die Senate elections, including Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina and Colorado. Democratic candidates don't have to put up with this crap -- they're even trying to dump the official Democrat in Kansas to give the stealth Democrat a better shot. When we're all dying from lack of health care across the United States of Mexico, we'll be deeply impressed with your integrity, libertarians. If you are considering voting for the Libertarian candidate in any Senate election, please send me your name and address so I can track you down and drown you." - Ann Coulter, in a column that includes multiple demands for donations to the Senate campaign of Scott Brown.

Former Sen. Scott Brown's Truck Is Back
Remember former Sen. Scott Brown's truck from those 2010 campaign ads? It's back.
Scott Brown, formerly the Senator of Massachusetts, wants to be the Senator of New Hampshire. He wants to be Senator really badly. On Monday, his campaign will air his first ad in the Granite State — and it looks disconcertingly familiar to anyone from New England. “Scott Brown has nearly 300,000 miles on this truck,” a narrator intones. “Over the last few weeks, it’s taken him all over the state of New Hampshire. Listening. Learning. And what he’s heard is that people want an America that leads the world again. A health plan that works for New Hampshire. More good jobs. Isn’t it time that someone took their side?”Old truck pitch + snowmobiles = New Hampshire?

Former Sen. Scott Brown Files For 2014 Senate Bid From New Hampshire
In 2010 former Cosmo model Scott Brown won the special Massachusetts election to succeed the late Ted Kennedy in the Senate. Two years later he failed to hold that seat, losing to Elizabeth Warren. Brown has now filed the paperwork to run for the Senate again, this time from New Hampshire, where he has lived for the last four months. If he succeeds in the GOP primary, Brown will face Sen. Jeanne Shaheen in the general election. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is among those slamming Brown as a carpetbagger: "I’m sure you’ve all heard this before, but Sen. Mikulski said last week in the caucus that the Constitution guarantees every state two senators, but the Constitution does not guarantee every senator two states."

HomoconQuotable - Robert Oscar Lopez
"Like many women who are sexually assaulted and later become strippers or prostitutes, [former Senator] Scott Brown probably dealt with his sexual trauma by modeling nude ten years after being mauled at a camp. Perhaps he feels that because he dealt with male-male sexual abuse his way, other men should have to figure things out on their own.
"He gets to showcase his wounds in interviews and write a book about the whole experience. He expects other men who don't want to be sexually mauled by homosexuals to be stuck showering inches away from them in Army barracks with no recourse to therapy to avoid falling into homosexual behavior themselves as a consequence of the trauma. And now, if a man feels threatened by a homosexual aggressor in the military the way Scott Brown was threatened by a male aggressor when he was ten, there will soon be no chaplains to consult in faith-based terms. The chaplaincy is slowly being cleansed of anybody who doesn't rubberstamp the gay lobby's ideology.
"Welcome to Scott Brown's and Chris Christie's brave new world of strong national security: instead of banning discussion of homosexual acts in high-risk situations where naked young soldiers are vulnerable, use the police powers of the state to ban discussion of things that young people with homosexual attractions can do other than become adult homosexuals." - Homocon anti-gay activist Robert Oscar Lopez, thinking long and hard about naked soldiers for American Thinker. (Via Right Wing Watch)
RELATED: In addition to appearing on stage at an anti-gay Manif Pour Tous rally in France, Lopez has testified against LGBT equality before several state legislatures and he co-signed an anti-gay homocon brief to the Supreme Court. You really must read the Media Matters take on Lopez' trilogy of gay erotica.

Scott Brown 2016?
"I want to get an indication of whether there’s even an interest, in Massachusetts and throughout the country, if there’s room for a bi-partisan problem solver. It’s 2013, I think it’s premature, but I am curious. There’s a lot of good name recognition in the Dakotas and here – that’s pretty good." - Former GOP Sen. Scott Brown, speaking to the Boston Herald at the Iowa State Fair.

Scott Brown Joins Fox News
Former Sen. Scott Brown has signed on as a contributor to Fox News.
Brown will make his debut in his new role Wednesday's evening on "Hannity." He will provide political commentary for the network, Fox said. There were reports earlier this month he was in talks with Fox, which recently cut its ties with one of its most well-known commentators, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. The former senator is considered a rising star in the Republican Party, despite his short tenure in the Senate. He won a 2010 special election to fill the seat of the late-Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) and then was defeated by Democrat Elizabeth Warren when he ran for re-election last year.

Senator Ted Kennedy Jr.?
The Boston Herald reports that top Massachusetts Democrats are urging Edward Kennedy Jr. to submit himself to replace Sen. John Kerry, who will likely succeed Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.
“Several people have approached (Kennedy) about running,” said the source. “They are all mindful that his name is Edward M. Kennedy.” If Teddy Jr. runs, it will be the first time the Edward M. Kennedy name has been on the ballot since the liberal lion last ran in 2006. He died in 2009. The Kennedy name still carries tremendous political clout in Massachusetts and if Teddy Kennedy Jr. jumped in, he likely would clear the Democratic field. U.S. Representatives Edward Markey, Michael Capuano and Steven Lynch all are considering a run for the Senate seat. U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz and Attorney General Martha Coakley also are potential Democratic candidates.Soon-to-be former Sen. Scott Brown is expected to enter the special election. According to the above-linked article, insiders believe that only someone with the famed Kennedy name could beat Brown.

Celebrate Diversity (With Shotgun Shells)
The star of Sen. Scott Brown's latest campaign ad has quite the Facebook page. Matt Sledge reports at Huffington Post:
Scott Brown recently got in hot water for falsely claiming that his Senate race opponent, Elizabeth Warren, was using paid actors in her commercials. But it turns out that Brown is perhaps the one who should have known more about the people appearing in his ads. In a television advertisement running as recently this week, Sen. Scott Brown's (R-Mass.) reelection campaign featured a union construction worker whose publicly accessible Facebook page is riddled with insults against Brown's Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren and President Barack Obama. On one post made in August, well before Brown's ad appeared, the worker, George Patriarca, calls Warren a "DOUCHEBAG." On another he labels the president a "faggot," and on a third he says, "there is a Muslim in the White House."Another post on Patriaca's page says that "Jews hate themselves." Sen. Scott Brown has been endorsed by GOProud and the Log Cabin Republicans.

Quote Of The Day - Micky Ward
"I can’t support Scott Brown. I just can’t do it. I found out Scott is anti-union and I’m a Teamster guy. I found out he’s also against gay marriage and I say if you love someone you should have the same rights no matter who you are." - Boxing legend Micky Ward, retracting his endorsement of Sen. Scott Brown, who was about to appear at Ward's gym for a photo op. Mark Wahlberg played Ward in the Oscar-winning movie The Fighter.Labels: Scott Brown, Senate, sports, straight allies

Headline Of The Day
Talking Points Memo has the quote: "As a husband and father of two young women, I found Todd Akin's comments about women and rape outrageous, inappropriate and wrong. There is no place in our public discourse for this type of offensive thinking. Not only should he apologize, but I believe Rep. Akin's statement was so far out of bounds that he should resign the nomination for US Senate in Missouri."Others Republicans are backing Tea Party hero Akin, including FRC vice president Tom McClusky, who is denouncing anybody that calls for Akin to withdraw.

GOP Denounces Dan Savage
Following the release of an It Gets Better video made by (almost) the entire Massachusetts delegation to Congress, Sen. Scott Brown has come under fire for not participating. Today the National Republican Senatorial Committee issued this statement in response:
If, as the old saying goes, you’re known by the company you keep, than the voters of Massachusetts deserve to know who Democrat party operatives are teaming up with to spread outrageous attacks on Scott Brown’s character. It’s truly reached a new level of desperation in their efforts to tear down Scott Brown, but we look forward to hearing whether state and national Democrat leaders agree with Dan Savage’s long history of lewd, violent and anti-Christian rhetoric. Given their press conference call today, one has to presume at this point that they do.Savage has noted numerous times that so far not one GOP elected official has been brave enough to make an It Gets Better video denouncing the bullying, beatings, and suicides of LGBT children. Not one. Savage: "No GOP elected [official] can back the seemingly radical notion that LGBT kids shouldn't kill themselves, that they should have hope for their futures."

Sen. Scott Brown: I Was Molested
In a 60 Minutes interview to be aired this Sunday, freshman GOP Sen. Scott Brown reveals that he was molested by an adult male camp counselor while a young boy. Brown told interviewer Lesley Stahl that even his mother didn't know about the abuse. "That's what happens when you're a victim. You're embarrassed. You're hurt," he said. Brown said the camp counselor had touched him and he had been forced to touch the counselor. He said the counselor threatened to kill him if he told anyone about what had happened. "Fortunately, nothing was ever fully consummated, so to speak, but it was certainly, back then, very traumatic," he said. Brown gave the interview on the eve of publication of his memoir "Against All Odds."Brown also disclosed that his stepfathers had brutally beaten him when he was as young as six years old.

Sen. Scott Brown Backs New DADT Bill
Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) says that he will vote for the Senate's stand-alone DADT repeal bill, bringing the number of probable pro-repeal votes in the Senate to 61. For now, anyway. “Sen. Brown accepts the Pentagon’s recommendation to repeal the policy after proper preparations have been completed. If and when a clean repeal bill comes up for a vote, he will support it,” said Brown spokesperson Gail Gitcho. Brown’s backing means that – on paper – supporters of the repeal have 61 senators in favor of the bill. On Wednesday Republicans Olympia Snowe of Maine and Lisa Murkowski both announced their support for the stand-alone repeal. The House passed the clean repeal on Wednesday and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has vowed to bring it to a vote in the Senate before the end of the year.Everything now hinges on the dwindling time in the lame duck session.
