Piers Morgan To Replace Larry King

After a month of rumors, CNN confirmed today that America's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan will be taking over for Larry King in January.
Mr. Morgan, the British-born journalist and talent show judge, will host an interview show weekdays at 9 p.m., the network said. A name for the show was not announced. It is an extraordinary coup for Mr. Morgan, who most American viewers know only as a judge on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” A deal between the parent companies of NBC and CNN cleared the way for Mr. Morgan to take both jobs. He is also expected to retain a role on ITV, the British network, where he hosts an interview series called “Life Stories.”
King's last regular broadcast is expected to be in November, but CNN says he will continue to make specials for the network.

Stephanie Miller Vs. Dennis Prager
Kamala Harris Vs. Harry Jackson

Last night on CNN newly out radio host Stephanie Miller took on conservative asshat Dennis Prager and Maryland carpetbagger Harry Jackson over marriage equality. San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris, who we haven't seen much of so far, also weighs in. In the second clip Jackson bizarrely warns that same-sex marriage will lead to legalized prostitution.

Stephanie Miller: "Every little girl has a dream, Larry, and I have a new one. I want to be gay-married by Kathy Griffin to a black woman. I want Laura Schlessinger to be my maid of honor, at a mosque. So that every right wing head will implode simultaneously."

Laura Bush Comes Out For Gay Marriage

You may recall that in her memoir released early this month, Laura Bush wrote that she had asked Dubya not to make gay marriage an issue in his campaign, considering how many gay friends they had. Last night on Larry King, Laura expanded on that, saying she supported gay marriage and that it would eventually be legalized as the issue is a "generational thing."

Tickle Me Massa

Yesterday on Glenn Beck's show, former Rep. Eric Massa said that he'd had same-sex tickle fights with his staffers, prompting one of the most hilarious Twitter threads I've read since joining the service. According to Massa, it was those tickle fights that prompted the charges of male sexual harassment. (His story is changing every 12 hours!) And last night Larry King asked Massa if he is gay. Massa: "I'm not gonna answer that. In the year 2010, why don't you ask my wife? Ask my friends. Ask the 10,000 sailors I served with in the Navy." Massa called King's question insulting to "every gay American." King: "You said you groped someone! Who was a male!"

Dr. Laura Gets Slightly Nicer

Dr. Laura is still a complete loon as you'll see, but at least she says this: "I still believe [...] that marriage is a sacrament between a man and a woman. So not calling it marriage works for me. But that two people would have that sort of commitment to me is very healthy and very positive thing in their lives and society as a whole."
