Gallagher may claim to have "never backed away" from Ladyfingers, but those of us who monitored their website daily at the time noted the complete scrubbing of all previous mentions of Prejean.

Miss Ladyfingers USA To Get Opposite Married In Gay-Boycotted Hotel

Tomorrow Carrie Ladyfingers Prejean will opposite marry NFL quarterback Kyle Boller in San Diego. And in a deliberate final "fuck you" to the gays, she's booked the wedding at Doug Manchester's Grand Del Mar Hotel. Manchester's hotels have been boycotted and picketed by gays and gay-friendly organizations ever since it was revealed that he contributed more than $125,000 to Protect Marriage. Manchester has tried to end the boycott, which has cost him millions in convention business, by offering free rooms and meeting space to LGBT groups, all of whom have refused. Last August, Doug "Sanctity of Marriage" Manchester ditched his wife of 43 years in an ugly divorce that included accusations that he forged her endorsement on an $8.2M tax refund check.

Seven months later, Miss Ladyfingers USA still dominates the search terms that bring outsiders to JMG. And to think I once complained because the top item was "bacon explosion." Anyhow, it's a good list to look at anytime I get feeling all fancy pants.

Gallagher notes parenthetically that the same pollster says public support for marriage equality has since returned to pre-Ladyfingers level, which, of course, shoots down the premise for her entire column. But logic has never been Maggie's strong suit. Nor is the truth, for she makes no mention of her furious backpedaling from Prejean during the sex tape scandal, during which all mention of Miss Ladyfingers magically vanished from NOM's website.

Miss Ladyfingers USA is engaged to St. Louis Rams quarterback Kyle Boller. The happy couple is registered at Good Vibrations, The Pleasure Chest, and Vivid Entertainment. She should totally ask Maggie to be a bridesmaid!

There's A John Edwards Sex Tape

Gawker reports today that John "Baby Daddy" Edwards made a sex tape with his German filmmaker mistress. According to those that have seen the video, Edwards is rocking a monster.

Sources have told us that, in the throes of their affair, John Edwards and Rielle Hunter made a sex tape that contains "several sex acts." And that his aide, Andrew Young found it on an unmarked DVD. The tape, say both our sources, is explicit and reveals that Edwards "is physically very striking, in a certain area. Everyone who sees it says 'whoa'. She's behind the camera at first." When rumors of the affair first broke Young was so loyal to Edwards that he pretended that he was the father of Hunter's daughter Frances Quinn, now 2. But part of Young's disillusionment with the 2004 vice presidential candidate and 2008 candidate came one day as he went through a stack of DVDs at Rielle Hunter's house.

Maggie Gallagher Finally Responds To The Miss Ladyfingers USA Scandal

After weeks of shamed silence during which NOM scrubbed all mention of Carrie Prejean from their website, Maggie Gallagher has at last commented on the Miss Ladyfingers USA scandal in a column published on the wingnut site Townhall.

I hope young women watching learn something from Carrie's ordeal; ideally something like: Don't have sex with men who aren't willing to marry you. But if that is too elevated an ideal, try this one: Girls, don't send any pic to your boyfriend you don't want your mom or Matt Lauer to see. An embarrassed Carrie wasn't fully truthful about her private and personal life, which ended up making things more difficult for her. (Could any of those folks who defended Bill Clinton's right to commit perjury about sex please step up and say a kind word or two for Carrie?) [snip]

A few people have asked me if Carrie is now going to "stop" working for me. The truth is she doesn't work for NOM (National Organization for Marriage). We cut a TV ad without asking her approval using publicly available footage, and then we asked her to appear at a press conference to promote it. Out of the goodness of her heart she agreed, for which I remain grateful. I was asked to introduce her at several events, and I would do so again.

I really wanted Carrie to work for me because I believed she may have had a calling to help fight for the other Americans who believe as she does that marriage is the union of husband and wife. But Carrie did not want to be a crusader on the gay marriage issue, or the leader of a Christian youth movement. She just wanted to be a model, or an entertainer, or a sportscaster, or a news reader -- the kind of thing you'd imagine a 22-year-old beauty queen might dream about. I don't know why so many people are exulting over the idea they may have killed her young dreams.

Gallagher says she "doesn't understand the newsworthiness" of the sex tape scandal and that she hopes "the people gleeful about this attack are enjoying their pyrrhic victory." HAH. "Gleeful" is far too weak a word to describe how happy the Ladyfingers disaster has made us, Maggie.

What happened to *"the future of our movement, and the future of America," as you referred to Carrie just two months ago? Was it because she lied again? This time she said in numerous interviews that she "made only one sex tape." Now it appears to be more like 15 or 20. We just heard that from the guy she met on My Space. He also said that Carrie asked him to lie and say that she was only 17 when she made the sex tapes. In an interview with TMZ's Harvey Levin, her ex said that she made the tapes when she was from 19 to 21, so not that long ago like Carrie insists. Executives at porn studio Vivid Entertainment say they've seen one of Carrie Prejean's sex tapes and they are SO ready to sign her up as their newest porn star.

"We've now seen the footage that has been so much in the news lately, we've reviewed it and we are ready to negotiate with Carrie," said Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of Vivid, adding, "we look forward to contacting Carrie and forging a business relationship with her." "The footage we saw is a series of very graphic and hot clips," Mr. Hirsch said. "Let's just say that she appears to be totally enthusiastic and is thoroughly enjoying herself. Carrie says the tape was 'the biggest mistake of my life.' That may be, but she can take this mistake and turn it into cold, hard cash. Mr. Hirsch said that the third party that brought the tape to Vivid affirmed that she was over 18 years of age at the time it was made.

In May of this year Vivid made its first offer to Prejean of $1-million to make a movie with the company after her controversy with the Miss USA Pageant. Last week, the studio renewed its offer based on the discovery of her sex footage and the realization that she was comfortable having sex before a camera. The Prejean movie would be distributed under the Vivid-Celeb imprint, which is known for titles starring such personalities as Shauna Sand, Kim Kardashian and Ray J, Jimi Hendrix, Vince Neil and others.

A friend of mine wrote to angrily demand why I and a mutual friend had both become a "fan" of Carrie Prejean on Facebook. I responded that one must be a fan in order to post comments. Our mutual friend, who prefers to remain anonymous, had a much, much better response.

Carrie Prejean Vs. The View

Continuing her Damage Control Tour 2009, this morning Carrie Prejean did a complete round of NYC-based talk and news shows. Miss Ladyfingers USA got a much less fawning welcome from the ladies of The View than she did from Sean Hannity, with Barbara Walters calling her out for lies in her book and telling her that the gay marriage flap was the best thing that ever happened to her. Ladyfingers responded with a curt nod and a "yeah."

Carrie Prejean wasn't the only member of her family who got a peek at Carrie's solo sex tape -- TMZ has learned her MOM was in the room when the Miss California USA lawyers pressed play. Sources tell TMZ Carrie's mom was in shock -- instantly turning sheet white as she watched her daughter give herself a hand. As TMZ first reported, it took all of 15 seconds for Carrie to drop her $1 million demand from the Pageant people after the XXX tape was played.

I bet that was an uncomfortable ride home.

No Ladyfingers For NJ's Haters
