This Should Be An Obama Ad

The Randy Report tips us to the below unintentionally hilarious clip in which a heavily followed (and apparently heavily augmented) lingerie model tells us why she's voting for Mitt Romney. Randy notes that she has over 200,000 YouTube subscribers and the clip has now gone viral, approaching two million views.  Her name is Trisha Paytas and she was recently featured on TLC's My Strange Addiction for her obsession with tanning.

Crazy Eyes: I'll Reinstate DADT

Yesterday Rep. Michele Bachmann told CNN that if elected, she'd "probably" work to have DADT reinstated.
Bachmann, a favorite of the ultraconservative Tea Party movement, said she would revisit the policy if she reaches the White House. "The 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy has worked very well," she told CNN's "State of the Union." "I would be in consultation with our commanders, but yes, I probably will" reinstate the ban, she added. The ban was overturned in a law adopted in December 2010 that first required the top military officer, the defense secretary and the president -- who is also commander-in-chief -- to certify the change would not harm military readiness and that the armed forces were ready to carry it out.
GOProud will be thrilled.

Maggie Gallagher: I Still Love Ladyfingers

NOM usually deletes my comments from their blog, but Maggie Gallagher yesterday responded to my comment on their post congratulating Miss Ladyfingers USA on the birth of her baby. Gallagher may claim to have "never backed away" from Ladyfingers, but those of us who monitored their website daily at the time noted the complete scrubbing of all previous mentions of Prejean.

Sarah Palins Slams Obama On DOMA

"I have always believed that marriage is between one man and one woman. Like the majority of Americans, I support the Defense of Marriage Act and find it appalling that the Obama administration decided not to defend this federal law which was enacted with broad bipartisan support and signed into law by a Democrat president. It’s appalling, but not surprising that the President has flip-flopped on yet another issue from his stated position as a candidate to a seemingly opposite position once he was elected." - Sarah Palin, as triumphantly quoted today by Maggie Gallagher.

Dancing With The Witches

Christine O'Donnell has been invited to be a contestant on the coming season of Dancing With The Stars.
"I just got the Official 'Ask' from Dancing With The Stars!" the Republican wrote on the social networking site, although she remains undecided. Her thoughts: "Although I am utterly flattered, my initial thought was to decline, as 2 year old nephew has more rhythm than me, and my two left feet!!" O'Donnell then turned the floor over to her Facebook followers, who weighed in on the pros and cons.
The show's producers will announce the complete 2011 cast on Monday.

Christine O'Donnell: I'm Going After Soros

Christine "Not A Witch" O'Donnell has launched a fundraising drive so that she can investigate groups "funded with one million dollars or more from billionaire leftist George Soros."
"The Left keeps after me because they consider strong, Republican women a danger to their status quo," O'Donnell wrote. "Your donation also enables me to speak out in many venues from Coast to Coast, thereby helping support a nationwide effort. This is a way that will help me counter attack our opponents and bring the battle to them." ChristinePAC is based out of O'Donnell's Delaware home, raising concerns for ethics groups given that O'Donnell is already under investigation for alleged misuse of campaign funds. O'Donnell also claims that President Barack Obama and the White House regarded her "as their number one opponent."
Wanna bet she rakes in a fortune?

O'Donnell: Repealing DADT Would Be Like Allowing Adultery In The Military

Via Wonkroom, here's what Christine O'Donnell said about DADT.
"A federal judge recently ruled that we have to overturn Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. There are a couple of things we need to say about that. First of all, judges should not be legislating from the bench. Second of all, it’s up to the military to set the policy that the military believes is in the best interest of unit cohesiveness and military readiness. The military already regulates personal behavior in that it doesn’t allow affairs to go on within your chain of command. It does not allow it you are married to have an adulterous affair within the military. So the military already regulates personal behavior because it feels that it is in the best interest of our military readiness. I don’t think that Congress should be forcing a social agenda on to our military. I think we should leave that to the military."
Fuller clips of the debate are in the post below this one.

Christine O'Donnell: Homosexuals Are Psychologically Defective

In 2006 Delaware GOP Senate candidate told a reporter, "People are created in God's image. Homosexuality is an identity adopted through societal factors. It's an identity disorder." The Washington Post reacts:
O'Donnell's suggestion that gays suffer from a psychological disorder is far worse than other comments about gays that have already gotten media attention, such as her claim that the government spent too much on AIDS and her insistence that "gays get away with so much." Also: Last week O'Donnell insisted that her rigid moralistic views represent long-ago youthful excesses. But as late as 2006, she was apparently still suggesting that gays are suffering from some sort of mental illness that has caused them to stray from God's "image." Indeed, this would appear to put O'Donnell squarely in the camp of those who liken homsexuality to pedophilia and bestiality.
This is the person that the Quislings at GOProud want to see in the federal government.
