SOUTH CAROLINA: Hate Groups Rally For Bill To Stop Same-Sex Marriages

State Rep. Bill Chumley is leading the battle in the South Carolina General Assembly. This past December, he filed bill H 3022 that would cut off all state funding (including pay and pension) to any state employee or activity that processes a “gay marriage” certificate, or legitimizes, enforces, or recognizes a “gay marriage” in any way. All of this has galvanized people. The speakers addressed history, law, theology, natural rights, and the Constitution – and also the “gay marriage” horror stories from Massachusetts. It was a rousing afternoon. To anyone accustomed to hearing the mush from politicians in the Northeast (even “conservative” ones) this was really different. There is something particularly refreshing about Southern lawmakers who are completely unafraid to tell the truth and invoke God’s law over man’s law.

Brian Camenker, founder of MassResistance, was the keynote speaker at an event organized by the Jamaican Coalition for a Healthy Society in the Jamaican capital’s Emancipation Park on Dec. 10. The organization has led a campaign to preserve the sodomy provision — known locally as the “buggery law” — following Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller’s suggestion just before her 2011 election that she might allow a vote on its repeal. “I am here to warn you that [repeal of the buggery law] will have terrible consequences,” Camenker said, according to a video of the event uploaded by MassResistance on Saturday. “A law that contradicts God’s law is the beginning of a slippery slope that you cannot imagine.” Camenker described a series of events that he said flowed from the decriminalization of sodomy in Massachusetts, including the “indoctrination” of children in schools and the suppression of religious people opposed to LGBT rights.

Camenker was there just three days after Porno Pete.

MA Hate Group Demands Red Sox Cancel Pride Night At Fenway Park

Right Wing Watch points us to a campaign by MassResistance, one of the most vile anti-gay hate groups in the nation, which is calling on its supporters to deluge the Red Sox with demands for the cancellation of tonight's Pride Night at Fenway Park, where recently out NBA player Jason Collins is scheduled to throw out the first pitch.

The Red Sox have been around long enough to know that "Pride Week" in Boston is a hideous, obscene, and outright disgusting display of perverse activities. (Plus, in recent years, more young people have been drawn in through Boston Pride's management of Massachusetts Youth Pride every May.) And the Boston Red Sox organization are not only going to celebrate it at their ballpark, but will be financially supporting it from their ticket sales. Several people have reported back to us that when they call, the Red Sox staffers tell them that the Sox are NOT celebrating "Gay Pride Day." They're also telling people that it's only about "supporting tolerance." To claim that it's not connected with "Gay Pride Week" is simply a lie. One only needs to see all the advertising that's been generated about this sordid event. Don't let them get away with that!

MassResistance plans to appear outside the stadium to hand out anti-gay fliers and tell baseball fans that they're all going to hell for supporting perversion. Or something.

Maybe they think that if unprincipled Republicans get elected, the liberals and the media (and their mushy RINO donors) will like them all better. The bottom line is that it's down to the same old thing: money and power. They can pretend to be conservative for the hoi polloi, but they're much too "refined" to actually hold to those principles. Tea Party Patriots Declare From Podium: "We Will Not Be Silenced By Faggots"

The Tea Party rally I mentioned early this morning was a lot rowdier than even that story suggested. Visit Scott Wooledge's exhaustive report at Daily Kos for more. One charming highlight came when the speaker at the podium shouted, "We will not be silenced by FAGGOTS!" It also looks like there will be an investigation in the above Boston police officer.

The department was criticized after photographs circulated online that appear to depict a city officer with his right hand around the throat of a man at the protest. The man is wearing a bandanna that covers the lower part of his face. Both of his hands are at his own waist, holding a pink wig. Elaine Driscoll, a spokeswoman for the Boston Police Department, said that the photographs, which were posted to the picture-sharing website Flickr, appeared to be from the Common, when protesters rushed the stage at the Tea Party event, which had a permit. “The aggressive nature of these individuals required officers to call for numerous additional units to respond. The department supports the arrests made by the officers today,” Driscoll said in an e-mail. “As a matter of routine procedure following a day of aggressive protests, the department will review all of the activity that took place during the course of the day.”

A crowd of approximately 75 tea party activists gathered round the bandstand on the Common to hear speakers representing groups like “Show ID to Vote,” “Newsbusters” and the Mass. Republican Assembly. From the outset about 20 protestors from Join the Impact MA stood along the edge of the surrounding sidewalk quietly holding signs condemning Scott Lively and Brian Camenker for their homophobic advocacy. Just before Lively’s and Camenker’s turns at the podium came, roughly 100 exuberant protestors from the Occupy movement charged onto the scene chanting loudly and waving signs. The din became an uproar as Lively took the microphone. In his speech, Lively blasted conservatives who would minimize the importance of social issues. Then he denounced LGBT rights activists as “fascists” who were intent on destroying civilization. Camenker met with similar pushback as he criticized the work of GLSEN for allegedly promoting homosexual recruitment of public school students—in reference to the group’s efforts to prevent anti-LGBT bullying. Lively and Camenker were loudly booed, and much of their speech-making was drowned out by Occupy chants and “mic check” counterpoint.

The SPLC-certified hate group MassResistance has just issued an e-book attacking former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney over the advances made in LGBT rights during his tenure. Christian Newswire has the press release:

Longtime JMG readers may recall Amy Contrada for her 2007 reaction to her daughter Claudia's coming out while a high school senior. Contrada accused LGBT activists of "perverting" Claudia's sexuality and yanked her out of school. Then she published a full-page article on the MassResistance site to reveal that Claudia isn't even biologically hers and was adopted. It really does take a vile repulsive bitch like Amy Contrada to actually make us feel (momentarily) sympathetic to Mitt Romney.

Tweet Of The Day - Peter LaBarbera

And I have repeatedly tweeted Porno Pete, calling on him to denounce his BFF Scott Lively for hiring a convicted child molester to work with school children. Lively has been the subject of numerous praising posts on LaBarbera's site and the two have appeared together at an event held by the SPLC-certified hate group, MassResistance. Last year, MassResistance endorsed Scott Lively as a write-candidate for governor of Massachusetts, but they too have yet to comment about the arrest at Lively's coffeehouse.

Since LaBarbera remains silent on the Lively scandal, we can only presume he approves of anti-gay Christian teen outreach centers hiring somebody who raped a ten year-old girl, who failed to register as a sex offender, and who then gave a false name to police. But we probably shouldn't be surprised that two certified hate groups, Labarbera's AFTAH and MassResistance, would close ranks around a third, Lively's Abiding Truth Ministries. After all, just because somebody rapes a third grader doesn't mean he can't be an effective Minister of Hate.

Anti-Gay Hate Groups Collaborate To Oppose Elena Kagan

The wackos at the poorly punctuated Pray In Jesus Name Project have launched a fax campaign to oppose the Supreme Court confirmation of Elena Kagan. And look who they've hired.

Chaplain Klingenschmitt has contracted with a team of investigative journalists including Brian Camenker, Amy Contrada and Peter LaBarbera to investigate and report breaking news about Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan. While serving as Dean of Harvard Law School, Kagan's administration demanded and forced Blue-Cross, Blue-Shield to cover sex-change operations as an "equal right" paid benefit, harming gender-confused students, as confirmed in 2006 and 2008 by Harvard Crimson newspaper articles. Kagan also offered sympathetic ear to lesbian group Lambda's Transgender Task Force demand to force all women to share public bathrooms and locker-rooms with cross-dressing men, which is now part of Harvard's dormitory policy, according to the report. "This is further proof Elena Kagan cannot be trusted to impartially rule on Obamacare or bathroom bills like ENDA, since she believes sin is a Constitutional right," said Chaplain Klingenschmitt, "but rights come from God, who never grants the right to sin."

Brian Camenker and Amy Contrada are the co-founders of the SPLC-certified hate group MassResistance. Contrada has an openly lesbian daughter, making her anti-gay bleatings even more repulsive. And of course you already know about Porno Pete.

Hate Group MassResistance Stakes Out The Ladies Room At Transgender Conference

MassResistance, the Massachusetts bigots listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, staked out a transgender conference in January, secretly filming attendees entering and leaving a women's restroom.

Transgender madness in Massachusetts: The Peabody Marriott Hotel hosted the annual "First Event" transgender conference on January 15-17, 2009. These photos and videos illustrate the insanity that will descend on all of America . . . unless this sexual radical movement is stopped: Seven-foot men in dresses using the women's restroom. Hundreds of cross-dressers swarming the hotel, upsetting other guests (who were not forewarned). A transgender rock concert. This is what protecting "gender identity and expression" really means. Mass. Bill H1728 (now before the Legislature) would punish any opposition to such madness with fines and jail time. Even schools would be opened up to cross-dressing children, transgender restrooms and locker rooms, and sports teams. Employers would be subject to new non-discrimination regulations. (At the federal level, ENDA would force this on the country if passed.)
