FACT CHECK 1: Yesterday the Massachusetts state fire marshal revealed that the explosion was caused by a utility worker who accidentally punctured a gas line. Jeebus must be moonlighting.

FACT CHECK 2: Over twenty people were injured as a result the explosion that Lively prayed for and is thanking God for, many of them firefighters who responded to the scene.

Obviously the ads in Arabic and other languages won't be seen only in the nations where the ad buys are made. The internet, after all, has no boundaries. But here's what goes on just a few of countries targeted by NOM:

United Arab Emirates: Homosexuals can be put to death.
Kuwait: Homosexuals can be imprisoned for ten years.
Oman: Homosexuals can be imprisoned up to three years.

It cannot be any plainer. Taking a page from Scott Lively, NOM is intent on whipping up anti-gay hatred in nations where our brothers and sisters already live their lives in quiet terror at best.

UPDATE: There is some disagreement regarding the UAE gay death penalty, which I've linked from Wikipedia. The ILGA says that issue is unclear.

"My prayer, as one who really does hate irrational prejudice, is that the Lord by His sovereign power will remove this dangerous, hate-spreading organization from our nation and cause its leaders and members to repent for their wickedness. I want to make clear that I am asking God himself to destroy their organization." - Scott Lively, in a statement read at today's protest outside the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama. Lively's Abiding Truth Ministries is listed as a hate group by the SPLC.

The SPLC notes that others have tried to destroy them, including Lively's Christian brothers at the Ku Klux Klan, who pleaded guilty to firebombing their building in 1983. Scott Lively, Peter LaBarbera, the KKK. I'm not seeing any difference, are you?

RELATED: In case you're unaware, Lively is primarily known for his book Pink Swastika, which contends that Hitler was gay, that the Nazi party was founded in a gay bar, and that homosexuals were recruited for the SS because only they could be vicious enough. In 1991 Lively lost a civil suit after assaulting an Oregon lesbian activist and slamming her against a wall. The victim received a $31,000 judgment. Last year Lively was exposed for employing a convicted child molester at his Massachusetts teen outreach center. Lively is directly linked to the anti-gay violence currently sweeping Uganda, where his "ministry" may have spawned that nation's still pending "kill the gays" bill. He is the former California director of the AFA.
