According to Bill O'Reilly, the continuing decline in the percentage of self-identified Christians will bring about the collapse of the United States. Plus something something fall of Rome.

During his show, O’Reilly only briefly mentioned Palin in passing, along with Trump, saying she’ll have a very uphill climb in putting together the kind of serious national organization the other candidates have. Palin appeared on Fox just hours later, chatting with Sean Hannity about her 2016 ambitions. She spoke of conservative unity and admitted the right hasn’t been quite as united as it could be. And that’s when Palin observed that this is a problem on Fox News, which she described as “a quasi––or assumed––conservative outlet.” She brought up O’Reilly chuckling at her and Trump making things a “reality show” and said he can yuk it up if he wants, but “this is war.” Palin elaborated, “Hopefully the media, even the quasi-right side of the media, won’t be looking at this as some kind of reality show.”

Noah Rothman reports at Mediaite:
On Monday, Bill O’Reilly played portions of his interview with Obama that were not broadcast on Sunday which revealed details of the president’s thinking on the Keystone XL Pipeline, the cultural issues facing African-American families, and how Fox News covers the White House. O’Reilly asked Obama about the large number of children being born to unwed black mothers. “Why isn’t there a campaign to address that problem very explicitly?” he asked. “Actually, Bill, we address it explicitly all the time,” Obama replied. “So, whether it’s getting publicity or not is a whole different question.” O’Reilly said that he does not see the federal government acting to address this issue. Obama replied that the public and private sector are focused on this problem. “There is an economic component to it as well, though,” he said. Obama added that this is a problem that is increasingly being seen in “white, working-class homes.” Turning to the issue of Fox News Channel’s coverage of the president, O’Reilly asked Obama if he thought he was unfair in his coverage of the president. “Absolutely,” Obama replied. “Of course you are, Bill. But I like you anyway.”

Josh Feldman recaps:
Pastor Robert Jeffress sat down with Bill O’Reilly Monday night to argue that President Obama is laying the groundwork for the rise of the Anti-Christ because he is “conditioning” people to rely on government support. He said there will be a “future world dictator before Christ returns who’s going to usurp people’s personal rights, and “change God’s laws… without any opposition” so “people will have been conditioned long before the Antichrist comes to accept government overreach, and that’s what you’re seeing with President Obama.” He said, “I’m not saying President Obama is the Anti-Christ. In fact, I’m sure he’s not, because the Anti-Christ is going to have higher poll numbers.” He argued that in addition to Obamacare creating a culture of dependency, Obama is sowing the seeds for the Anti-Christ with the contraception mandate and “abortion-inducing drugs,” as well as the “redefinition of marriage.”

Mediaite recaps last night's show:
More than 24 hours after the news broke that A&E was suspending Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson over comments he made about homosexual sex, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly finally weighed in with his opinion on the matter. But unlike some other conservative commentators who defended Robertson, O’Reilly surprised his guest Laura Ingraham by going the other way and practically applauding A&E’s decision. “Mr. Robertson, I believe, made a mistake by the condemnation line,” O’Reilly said. “And here’s why. It’s not about the Bible, or believing or not believing in the Bible. It’s singling out a group, it could be anyone, and saying to that group, ‘Hey, you’re not worthy in the eyes of the lord… because of who you are.”
