Closeted homosexual Matt Drudge recently deleted his entire personal Twitter history, but today he returned to post the above 2013 photo. Some delighted teabaggers say the photo shows Christie with his hand in the president's pocket. Others claim Obama and Christie are holding hands, which I suspect was Drudge's intent. Last year fellow homocon asshat Tammy Bruce also mockingly posted the photo.

Virtually every site in Teabagistan this afternoon erupted in manufactured outrage because the president saluted with a coffee cup in his hand as he rushed off a helicopter to attend the General Assembly at the United Nations. Leading the charge as usual is Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit, who you might know by his title as "The Stupidest Man On The Internet." Seriously, just ask Google.

Donald Trump is promoting a new golf course in Ireland, where he got a bizarre welcome from a warbling soprano who was accompanied by a harp. Via the Irish Journal:
The 67-year-old billionaire — best known in recent years for his role as host of The Apprentice, and his ‘birther’ campaign against Barack Obama — caused a stir among tourists and workers at the airport, as his customised 757 swept in from the west shortly before 8am. He was greeted at the end of the red-carpet by Finance Minister Michael Noonan, County Clare Mayor Joe Arkins, various local dignitaries, and a freezing three-piece of musicians — who sang, fiddled and played the harp as Trump stepped down to the tarmac alongside his two sons, Ed and Donald Jnr, and daughter Ivanka.

A Sterling man who once tore out pages of the Koran in front of the White House, and whose fierce rhetoric on Twitter included declaring “the only good progressive is a dead progressive,” has been approved by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors to sit on the county library’s board of trustees for the next four years. The Loudoun supervisors last week confirmed Andrew Beacham, 31, a recently defeated candidate for Congress in Kentucky, to the library board. But several supervisors, including Eugene Delgaudio (R-Sterling) who nominated him, said they were unaware of Beacham’s colorful past. Beacham has twice stood and heckled President Obama during speeches about health care, he has worked closely with longtime anti-abortion activist Randall Terry, and his active presence on Twitter indicates he has little patience for liberals, gays or Nelson Mandela.Unaware of his colorful past? Yeah. And the above is only the tip of this lunatic's iceberg. Hit the link. (Tipped by JMG reader James)

"I think I’m evolving, and I think I’m a very fair person, but I have been for traditional marriage. I am for traditional marriage. I am for a marriage between a man and a woman. I think really what you have is a very changing stance, and you see it changing very rapidly. If you go back 10 years ago it’s very different." - Donald Trump, speaking from Moscow after being asked if Russia's anti-gay laws have influenced his opinions.

"My thoughts are that marriage is between a man and a woman. It's a well-established, fundamental pillar of society and no group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality. It doesn't matter what they are. They don't get to change the definition. So he, it's not something that is against gays, it's against anybody who wants to come along and change the fundamental definitions of pillars of society. It has significant ramifications." - Tea Party darling Dr. Ben Carson, speaking to Sean Hannity on Fox News. Carson is being backed for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination by many in Teabagistan. Andrew Kirell reports at Mediaite::
The war was certainly worth the cost because Saddam Hussein was “definitely looking for uranium from Niger,” she said. Her remarks were met with tepid boos and confusion, but the room was mostly pleasant at that point. But when the subject turned the the legalizing drugs, things quickly became tense. “Libertarians and pot,” Coulter said with a dismissive laugh. “This is why people think libertarians are pussies,” she said. Yes, it was bleeped. But I was there in person, so I know she said it.
Stossel then asked: “Why can’t gays get married?” “Well, they can,” Coulter replied. “They have to marry a member of the opposite sex.” The room filled with boos. “This is another one where you’re just sucking up to liberals when there are big fights,” Coulter explained. “No, we believe the individual should be left alone,” Stossel shot back. “Marriage is the most important institution to civilize young people. I make divorce a lot more difficult,” she said. “Liberals want to destroy the family,” she continued, eliciting jeers and mocking laughter from the students.

"This is no time to withdraw. Constitutional conservatism is right for Virginia and right for all Americans, whether white, black, Hispanic, Filipino, Asian, Native American, male or female. I intend to take my message to every Virginian, regardless of background. We all share the vision of 'one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.' And we must all come together for the good of our Commonwealth and our country." - Notorious homophobe E.W. Jackson, announcing his run for Lt. Governor of Virginia.

"Am I suggesting that the recent presidential election was stolen through voter fraud and manipulation? Without a doubt. Do I have evidence? Yes, I have plenty of anecdotal evidence to show that it was committed by one side in the election in various ways. And I am convinced that at least 5 percent of the Democratic vote can be attributed to fraud – illegal voters, illegal campaign contributions, rigged balloting, intimidation at the polls, you name it. I’m challenging the Obama campaign on the acceptance of those illegal donations. I’ve filed a Federal Elections Commission complaint at considerable cost. I have no illusions that it will be easy to challenge a sitting president within his own bureaucracy. But I’m doing it. Meanwhile, some in the press would prefer that I be charged with voter fraud for efforts to expose the system. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if the Democrat machine tries something like that. That’s why we need your help. We’re fighting to preserve America’s freedom here – nothing less." - World Net Daily founder Joseph Farah, who is accused of committing voter fraud for making two donations to the Obama campaign via an illegal Pakistani account he set up in the name of Osama Bin Laden.

New York City's public transit authority has voted unanimously to place disclaimers on ads such as the ones recently posted by anti-Islam activist Pam Geller. Similar disclaimers are already posted adjacent to Geller's ads on San Francisco's MUNI.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority approved new guidelines for advertisements on Thursday, prohibiting those that it “reasonably foresees would imminently incite or provoke violence or other immediate breach of the peace.” The 8-to-0 vote by the authority’s board came three days after pro-Israel ads characterizing Islamist opponents of the Jewish state as being “savage” began appearing in subway stations, setting off vandalism, denunciations of the authority and calls for the ads’ removal. The authority had initially rejected the ads, citing their “demeaning” language. The group responsible for the ads, the American Freedom Defense Initiative, sued, and in July won a federal court ruling on First Amendment grounds. “We’ve gotten to a point where we needed to take action today,” Joseph J. Lhota, the authority’s chairman, said at a news conference on Thursday.Yesterday's contentious MTA meeting was attended by some of Geller's most vocal detractors, who tried to shout her down when she appeared at the podium. About ten anti-Geller protesters were removed from the room by transit police. Geller is claiming victory over the MTA decision.
The people who attended were for the most part OWS thugs, anarchists, and Jew-haters. They spoke as one violent and hateful voice, attacking the board members, attacking the system, attacking me, attacking everything they could. In this poisonous atmosphere, I was grateful to be given the opportunity to speak. I explained the context of the ad, how it was a response to the anti-Israel ads that ran in the subways with no complaints. Of course, these free speech crushers did everything they could to shout me down. They were escorted out quickly.

"Just this week, I wrote a news release explaining why a special jury award was given to a movie at the Venice Film Festival: it shows a woman masturbating with a crucifix. I also issued another release on an upcoming series on FX that portrays a sadistic nun who beats mentally insane patients in an evil Catholic institution. This is what we do at the Catholic League: we are constantly drawing attention to the Catholic bashing that takes place in the arts, the entertainment industry, the media, and elsewhere. Yet no one in the Obama administration has ever expressed the slightest interest in condemning anti-Catholic fare.Labels: asshats, Bill Donohue, Catholic League, crackpots, Islam, Libya, religion
"The Democratic Convention in Charlotte finally heard a pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-religious liberty message last night--but unfortunately, it came after the official speeches. For those who noticed, this convention was heavily focused on the issues of abortion and homosexuality (though speakers seemed afraid to utter either word). On his radical social agenda, the President did not disappoint. He explained that the only politicians who can talk about marriage are those like himself who wish to redefine it out of existence.Labels: AFA, asshats, bigotry, Democrats, DNC, evil, hate groups, religion, Timothy Dolan, Tony Perkins

Former NYC mayor and closeted homosexual Ed Koch has penned an editorial praising the imprisonment of Pussy Riot, saying the jailed Russian punkers are as bad as ACT UP, who also once demonstrated inside a Catholic cathedral. You may recall that Koch and ACT UP tangled many times during his 80s reign as mayor when he resisted their calls for action. Koch writes: The Western cultural elite is rallying to the defense of the disrupters in the cathedral. Some approve of the verbal attack on Putin. Others support the denunciation of the Russian Orthodox church leadership and the church disruption because of the church leadership support of Putin. All cited characterize the issue as one of free speech. I do not. I would assume that many Pussy Riot supporters would take a different position, and rightly so, if here in the U.S. a black church were invaded and three men or women engaged in comparable conduct insulting holy places within the church and the pastor.Famed activist and ACT UP founder Larry Kramer once wrote of encountering Koch while Kramer was walking his dog. As the then mayor leaned over to pet the dog, Kramer said to Fido, "That's the man who killed all of Daddy's friends."
I recall when I was Mayor in 1989 and the AIDS activist group Act Up, unjustifiably angry with John Cardinal O’Connor, invaded St. Patrick’s Cathedral and interrupted the Mass, throwing the Communion wafers – which for Catholics are the actual Body of Christ – to the floor. Some were arrested. So far as I can recall, no one was punished. I think the decision of the Russian court to punish a hate crime was just and to be applauded, rather than condemned and ridiculed. One can argue concerning the degree of punishment, whether fines rather than jail time should have been imposed, but that is a function of the Russian penalty procedures.
